The Winter's Tale
A tale about a sparrow and a snow man

What a big snow! Big and small mountains become fluffy white buns. From under the eaves of the tiled house, two sparrows flew, chirping, and alighting on the bald branches of the old elm tree, rustling their feathers and turning their little heads about. They had been hungry all day and were desperate for something to eat. The sparrows were flapping about in the snow, looking for something to eat. However, they are disappointed, the world in addition to white or white.
"Come here, I have some food." Who's talking? The sparrow saw the snowman under the tree. The sparrow flew over, the snowman shining black eyes, kindly said: "Well, here are two black beans, you can satisfy your hunger.
The sparrow tilted his head and looked again. The snowman had nothing to eat. The snowman's eyes shone black and bright, and he said, "Well, look at my eyes. Aren't they edible?" The two sparrows were frightened and jumped away quickly, looking at the two black beans in the eyes of the snowman.
"We can't eat your eyes. Then you won't be able to see." "Said the sparrow hurriedly. "It would be nice not to see anything." The Snowman's voice was low and sorrowful. "The little girl in the house has been out of school for so long. Would you like to see her go on like this?"
The sparrows looked back. The door of the tiled house was ajar, and they saw the little girl sitting by the fire, cooking herbs for her sick mother. A bitter taste wafted out and filled the silver space. "Certainly not to see her out of school." "Said the sparrow hoarsely." But you can't close your eyes because you don't want to see them." "That's not what I meant." Snowman smiled, snowman smile is very beautiful, although the small mouth is a little girl with red cloth stick up. "You can help her. You can fly over the mountains to distant cities and tell all the people to help her and let her go back to school."
Hearing this, the sparrow was very excited and fanned its wings. "Just wait and see," he said affectionately, "we will surely realize your wish!" "Don't be busy." The snowman shouted to them, his eyes flashing bright, "First eat the black beans in my eyes, you may overcome the snow, fly away." The two sparrows looked at each other, but neither came forward. The snowman's eyes burst into sparks, and he cried out: "The little girl gave me these black eyes. Now I should give them back to the little girl. What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of snow and cold? Are you afraid of the distance?" The two sparrows froze and did not move.
Suddenly, the snowman blinked his eyes and two lines of tears ran down. Two black beans rolled out along the tears and fell onto the clean snow. There was no light in the deep sockets of his eyes. He sat there and said no more. The two sparrows lowered their heads sadly and picked up the black beans gently. In a white field, two little black dots flew away quickly.
In the spring, the little girl carrying her new schoolbag jumped out of the door, it is the good people in the distance let her back to school. How she wanted to tell the good news to the sparrows under the eaves, and the snowman under the old elm tree, but she never saw the two sparrows, the snowman under the tree also disappeared. She saw a tuft of grass growing up where the snowman had been made, and two small yellow flowers swaying in the spring breeze...
