In the bustling city of Safron, where towering skyscrapers cast long shadows over its people, a new figure emerged from the darkness –Nyx, the Warden of Cosmos.
Once a brilliant astronomer named Nyra Xasiot, she had dedicated her life to studying the cosmos, refusing to live in our rotten world and trying to escape from it. One fateful night, while observing a very rare celestial alignment, she discovered an ancient artifact buried deep within a crater. The artifact, a shimmering crystal made of an unknown material, pulsed with a mysterious energy. When Nyra observed it, the crystal shattered, sending waves of dark energy in her direction. This caused her to transform: no longer human, but a being connected to the very essence of the universe.
Nyx could now control the darkness, bending shadows to her will, creating impenetrable blackouts, and even traversing them as portals. With her newfound powers, she fought the criminality she hated, the hidden fears lurking in every alleyway. She saw the corruption festering in Safron, from petty thieves to elites who thought themselves untouchable.
But Nyx wasn’t a traditional hero, she believed in her justice. She would give the guilty ones chance to redeem themselves, one warning cloaked in shadows. If they failed, she would drag them into the darkness, making them confront their worst fears until they begged for mercy, assumed they survived.
Her actions divided the city. Some saw her as a necessary force against the rising tide of crime, while others feared her more than the criminals she hunted. As the Warden of Cosmos, Nyx, walked the line between hero and villain, her path forever shrouded in the ambiguity of the obscurity she commanded. In Safron, justice was no longer black and white—it was as gray as the twilight where Nyx thrived.
