We texted for about 20 minutes, cracking jokes and remembering our past lives. I see he was writing a text because a bubble with three dots showed up, but it disappeared. I waited for the message, but nothing happened. Another 20 minutes had gone by, and still no text from Sebastian. Something might have caught his attention. I then hear laughing from outside, so I decided to see what was going on. I went towards the window and opened the blinds…

“ARG!!” I yelled in a pain. Sebastian came running into my room, panicking. He then realized I burned myself. He closed the blinds entirely and rushed to my side. I forgot I didn’t have my ring, and I burned my hand when opening the blinds, allowing the sunlight to enter. He picked me up and wrapped me in his arm as comfort.

“Ana, are you alright? Why did you try to open the blinds?” He asked worryingly.

“I’m sorry. I forgot I didn’t have my ring. I was distracted, and I heard laughing, and… ahh, Ouch. That really stings.” I couldn’t bear to look at him, feeling embarrassed. I wanted to see if he was outside, and maybe that’s why he had stopped responding. He shook his head and gently grabbed my hand. It was already healing.

“Try not to be so nosy next time.” He joked. “So, I was talking to King Castiel, and he said that everyone is heading out to go hunt some animals and they will be back later today.”

So that’s why he stopped responding. “Oh. So does that mean we are alone?” I asked.

“Don’t get too excited now, it’s just for a few hours.” Again, he partially joked. I didn’t have to use my empathic ability to know he was excited, it was just radiating off his face. I simply rolled my eyes at him, but I couldn’t stop smiling. It wasn’t until now that I realized I was still on the ground, wrapped in his arms. I didn’t know what to do at this point. I wanted to stay, but I knew being on the floor in this position was just uncomfortable. I casually moved to lift myself up from the floor, and in doing so, my body shifted to face him. My knees were on the ground and my face was staring at his chest. I look up and our eyes meet. We are inches away from each other. He grabs y hands, and we both stand up. He takes his eyes away from mine for a moment to look down at the hand that was burned. It completely healed.

He raised that hand up towards him and he kissed it, all while keeping his eyes locked onto mine. My heart sank when I felt the touch of his lips against my skin. A smile crept over his face, and he kept his face inches from mine. Our hands move, and our fingers intertwine together. I would’ve never thought that this cold stone vampire I met over a month ago was the same softie wanting love standing right in front of me. I lean towards him and press my forehead against his chest, and he lays his chin on my head. I move away from him after a few seconds to get a good look at him. This is the first time that I have seen Sebastian in anything other than a suit. He’s wearing a tight white t-shirt showing off every pack and biceps there is, and also wearing some loosely fitted dark grey sweat pants.
