There was a teacher in a particular classroom 113. The teacher was nice enough, but no student knew for sure. This teacher always had a smile on their face. Could we really trust this one the students said to each other. In the hallways they all kind of walk around this teacher and the classroom they were at times afraid to move even to adjust themselves at their desks. One day the smiling teacher turned towards the class and the teachers' true self came through loud and clear and hissing all the way not one student could move away now.

A Fall Day
There is nothing better than being able to take a walk in the park on a cool, brisk day during autumn, but be on the lookout for you never know what or who is about. Looking around there is a shadow, and it is getting longer as the sun is setting. The person walked faster but seemed not to be making too much progress for the sidewalk seems to be sucking the person down. The person seems to be yelling for help, but no sound is heard by the others around. He stretches one more time for a branch: No!

My New Book is Finally Here
My poetry collection Beautiful and Brutal Things is done. It's actually done and finally published over 270 pages. Over a year of my life went into this book. More than a year, really. Long days at my computer, sometimes seven days a week because I couldn't stop even when I probably should have. Then two months of editing that felt harder than the writing itself. But it's finished, and I'm still standing, and the book is real.
