The Stealth Of A Hunter
shhh
A cat was crouched low to the dirt, its figure obscured by the long stalks of grasses that hid it.
In front of him, there lay a feather-tailed glider, who sat on their small haunches, sniffing the air. After concluding there were no predators around, it dropped and scurried over to one of the stalks, coming very close to the cat.
At this, the cat’s fur-tipped ears tilted back, ever so slightly, hoping the glider did not hear, and lifted his back legs. The prey was within striking distance- the timing must be right.
He waited…
Then pounced!
