A Nun's exorcism by a Elemental Coven

By Emiki VeePublished 2 years ago 9 min read

"Goddess of the moon and night, cloak me in the dark and hide me from evil’s sight. Let no force from above or below be aware of my presence, let my aura never show, until the morning glow."

I repeated the spell over and over in my head during the long car ride through the woods of Crescent Falls. Regina slept on the passenger side. The ride would have been silent, but Regina’s breathing sounded so horsed and struggled. It was like a hypnotic tune. She looked worse than sickly, she looked worse than death. The smell, that was either coming from her mouth or oily bloody skin, was indescribably foal. She looked awful. She did not not look like the strong older sister that raised me when mom left. The number of tears that fell from my face were in the thousands hearing and seeing her in such pain. I didn't think her Crunch would allow her to get this bad.

The sun was setting, there was maybe two hours of sunlight left. I would have made me worry, if I had not seen the wooden gates to Jasiah's cabin. I made it with a few hours to spare, but there would be no time to waste. the moment I crossed the gates, Just like Jasiah said, Regina awoke.

She groaned in pain yet sounded like herself.

"wh-where am ...?"

"Regina what ever you do, do not move the deer skull off your lap!"

I didn't mean to sound harsh, it was just important that she didn't brake Jasiah's spell. I repeated the same thing just incase, slower.

"Wyomia?"

Her honey brown eyes were the only thing I recognized from her pale face. It looked like she wanted to cry and hug my at the same time but couldn't, or wouldn't, as if she knew it would somehow spread the evil within her to me.

"Wyomia, what happened to me?" She looked at her surrounding. "Where are we going?" Then looked at the deer skull on her lap. To my surprise she did not react how she usually would. instead of flinging the skull off, caressed it. As if sadden by it.

"What is happening, Wyomia?"

"Regina listen to me." I tried not to cry "You are not sick. There is no therapy, no physiatrist, or doctors that will be able to help what is happening to you." I tried not to sound angry. "Your Church, your Priest, will not preform what is needed to help you."

She almost cut me off. "I feel fine now."

"Shut the fuck up!" My heart was beating so fast, I couldn't tell if it was from frustration or worry. "The only reason you are fine and talking right now is because Jasiah has you under a protection spell. Hence the skull on your lap." Calmness came over me when I saw the cabin at last. "That spell is not strong enough to last though."

Regina started to softly cry realizing where I brought her. "I cannot be here! I should be back with the other Sisters, back to the Crunch, confessing my sins!"

"Regina," I tried to place a hand on her shoulder, she moved away. " Your friend, Sister Manuela, called me because she was worried and scared for you. When we came to your room, we saw you floating upside down with cockroaches crawling out from underneath your nun cloths. It was was horrifying unworldly. "

Her eyes widen in horror, "No, that cannot be! Our Holy Lord will..."

I cut her off, "If you want to start a fucking argument, Regina, your Lord also allowed me to have the abilities to perform Witchcraft and magic pretty fucking awesomely so that I may one day help your ass!

She kept her mouth closed.

"My group, my friends, are not evil and don't do evil things," I raised my finger high, " well, unless we want to."

I parked and turned off the car to reach for her hands to cup them clenching them hard. "Regina, you need an exorcism. I may not have a bible, or the blood of Jesus to spit in the demons face. However, I have my Coven and all the tools needed to save your life."

"Wyomia, we may not understand the will of our Lord, regardless, I cannot participate outside his teachings. I'm sure it's not the way he has envisioned for me."

"And what if it was!" I argued back. "We were destined to be sisters, right? We both choose really different paths, you became a nun and followed the order of the holy faith, or whatever, and found family, love, and sisterhood. I dropped out of college and found family, love and sisterhood in my Coven as a Witch. Nonetheless we are Sisters by blood."

She looked at me as if she wanted to correct something I said. She chose not too.

"Please," I plead "Please do not make me watch you die by the forces of a demon. Please accept mine and and my sister's aid."

I was expecting to drag her out of the car with all my might, however, in the end I think she was just exhausted and weak to think straight, not truly realizing what she was agreeing to go through. She followed me to the back of the cabin, holding the skull, were everyone was setting up. Verity, my best friend hugged me as soon as we locked eyes.

"Thank goodness you both made it okay!" She looked at Regina still with her bubbly personality. "uh, Sister Regina, wished this was a better time to meet!"

Jasiah, our High Priestess, stood tall with all the other over showing everyone beside her. She possessed the presence of powerful woman with a loving aura. Beautifully aged with grace. with pricing eyes she looked directly at Regina. Reading her every thoughts, or was it the thoughts of the demon possessing her? with out a blink she came closer to us.

"Sister Regina," Jasiah said respectfully, " I have heard a lot. I am sorry for what you have been going through, please know you are in good hands. "

Regina started twitching at Jasiah's voice, the spell of protection was braking. Gurgling under her breath Regina asked, "Am I the first Nun you have done an exorcism to?"

Jasiah didn't answer, time was too precious now. We all knew the roles we needed to perform and began without a word more. I placed Regina in place in a rush, poring a small circle of sea salt around her. Her voice changed as if speaking with two voices. It was deepened and and raspy. Regina ached her back to yell out a horrible laugh, but didn't brake the circle, or rather she couldn't brake it. I continued the pentagram with the salt. Everyone around me gathered their elements.

"How Amusing!" Regina laughed out load, "Never did I ever imagine meeting Satan's Bitches!"

No, it was clear that Regina was no longer with us, we were facing the demon now.

" Oh, I mean Witches." It smiled using my sister's mouth and teeth. anger and fear boiled in my blood, but Jasiah's voice sooth me. "do not feed it my child, it is we who will be making the jokes shortly."

With everyone in place we began minutes before the sunlight dead. It was perfect timing. Our High Priestess's voice was strong and load.

"Fire. From the last ray of the sun, the last shine of this day, oh spirits of the flame and sun, protect us from the darkness soon to come.

Verity and Maybelle walked on opposite sides of the circle, simultaneously lighting all the candles in and outside the pentagram with bother their hands raised touching the sunlight. Their hands would painless be consumed by flames. It soon became dark but these flames well not go out along as they held it.

"Mother Earth, spirits of stone and tree bark. This is the and we call from. We ask for the strength of the Earth, strength from our ancestors who has walked these lands before us."

Beatrix carefully places the crystals on top of tree bark and dried herbs outside the pentagram with precision. She blew a seemingly endless supply of churched cinnamon and dry herbs from her hand. Trinitee cleanses the area with sage and lavender with her eyes rolled back, communicating the the spirits of the woods.

"Spirits of the Wind. Pushed from the bodies of your Children. We ask you grant us power, accept our bodies, soul, and song."

Lucy, Tess, Dawn and Cleo all chanted in song and danced intensely away from the pentagram with movements so powerful it shock the grounds as if we were standing on a huge drum. Wind stared to kiss our skin with its cold air. The energy around us shifted. Each of them synchronizing with each other's movements.

The demon starts to make my sisters body float a foot high, no longer amused or smiling.

"Tears from for our dear Wyomia who pleads for the soul of her sister. Water Spirits, hear her cries, and cleanse this water to banish the evil spirit whose attached itself to her Sister!"

I offer seashell that hold many precious memories from Regina and I, in hopes it pleases the spirits with some laughs and entertainment. underneath my beath I chant, " cleanse me clean, keep the wicked away." over and over. I allow the tears to once again fall from my face only to have it form into crystals in my hand. The spirits were pleased.

Jasiah smiled my way, I was ready to face the demon and fight for my Sister. Jasiah rolled her head back to allow the night to to touch her soul. Her eyes turned black, the blood through her veins visually perturbed. this meant I minutes.

Before I entered the pentagram, the demon looked straight in my eyes. The small of fear was not coming from me, it was coming from it.

" What is this?" It asked, "Do you honestly think this can send me back to Hell?" It scoffed. "I rather listen to a bible verse."

"Let my sister go, now!" I demanded. But all it did was laugh at me. From its mouth came dark ooze aiming for my face. Protected by my sisters, it did not touch me, thankfully. I chanted with closed eyes "Goddess of the moon and night, cloak me in the dark and hide me from evil’s sight. Let no force from above or below be aware of my presence, let my aura never show, until the morning glow."

I entered the circle and happily saw the demon's confusion. To it, it looked like I vanished into thin air. No, it just could not see me. I walked be it as it screamed a hideous roar. I grabbed it from behind locking it in my arms placing the cleansed crystals to it's eyes. Its skin started to sear and bubble. the smell was unbearable but I didn't care.

" You think I wanted to send you back?!" I screamed "I want to cause you pain!"

The Demon screamed in many voices in agony. It tried to claw at me but couldn't. " You will rue the day you crossed paths with me!" I yelled, as it thrashed and turned.

The heat of the fire surrounded us, the scent of the herbs burned the demons senses. the demon began to get winded as if air itself was pulling him out of Regina's body.

"I will give you my name!" It plead in surrender, for his us its name allows us to control it and send it back to where it came. But that was not good enough. I proudly replied, " Don't need it!"

All together, we chanted,

"Blood turn black and flesh turn blue, I will curse you. I curse your eyes, I curse your lies, creatures of the night come feast upon you.

I can hear Its bone crack underneath Regina's skin, the pain it screamed sounded extremally painful. Black blood oozed from its mouth covering both our cloths.

"Blood turn black and flesh turn blue, evil from me and back to you!"

A black slug like creature slithered out of Regina's mouth. Bones crushed sealed eyes, and smelled of old blood. It tried to crawl away with every might it could. All the girls fell to the floor exhausted from the ritual. I held Regina close, she looked like herself again, as if nothing happened to her. I can see Jasiah was the only one standing for it was her turn now.

"Now," Jasiah said, still with her dark eyes as she smiled sinisterly. "Allow me to summon the creatures of the night to slowly feast upon you."
