It's another long and mundane day at the office, but excitement builds inside Jenny as the clock ticks down. Tonight isn't just any night; it's the night that Tommy will propose to her! She isn't supposed to know, but what can she say? Gossip is Jenny's specialty. She knows every detail about the date night Tommy has planned.
First, he plans to dine at Prime Steakhouse in Niagara Falls, ON, where they'll enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking the falls. After he spoils her with his big wallet, they'll end the night beside the largest waterfall in North America, where he plans to propose with his great-grandmother's $30 million engagement ring!
Jenny's excitement slowly built up for this moment—the night she'll finally be freed from her financial burdens!
Suddenly, in a moment of realization, Jenny was overcome with anxiety. What if something goes wrong? What if the date goes terrible? What if he backs down and changes his mind?
Jenny is a beautiful woman with the most loveable personality, but that doesn't stop her nerves from kicking in. She's been with Tommy for two long years, trying to get a ring, and tonight, she might finally get it. There is no room for mistakes now; the finish line is right in front of her.
She rushed home from the office, eager to prepare for this life-changing night. She did her makeup to the nines, her hair flowed in long feathered layers, and she wore a black Portia and Scarlett dress with a small matching handbag. Her exceptional beauty blew Tommy away.
Tommy opened the car door for her like a gentleman, and they conversed as they drove to the steakhouse. The dinner was perfect; everything was exceptional! It all played out just as Tommy expected and precisely as Jenny intended. They talked and laughed for a few hours at the restaurant and then went to the waterfall.
It was beautiful. Colourful lights lit up the water, and nobody was around but the two of them. This was it—this was the moment that would change Jenny's life forever. Intimately staring into each other's eyes, Tommy grabbed Jenny's hands and confessed how much he loved her.
He slowly got down on one knee, reached into his back pocket, and pulled out the $30 million ring. He asked her, "Jenny, will you make me the happiest man on earth and take my hand in marriage?"
She didn't hesitate for a second, "YES!!! Please!!! Oh my god, I love you!!!"
Tommy placed the ring on her finger. He stood up, leaned in to kiss her, and a knife drove into his abdomen.
"I'm sorry," Jenny said in a quiet voice with little remorse as she pulled the knife from his stomach.
A man appeared out of the shadows to throw Tommy into the Niagara.
"I got the ring, baby; I'm sorry it took so long," Jenny said.
Clutching his stomach in an attempt to suppress the bleeding, Tommy muttered his last words,
"How could you?"
