It was almost nightfall and Anthony was in a hurry to reach his home.
“Please be green, please be green” he muttered to himself as he turned onto a street with traffic lights. Normally white men weren’t meant to work in the half hour before sunset but his boss had made him stay to help finish inventory so no one had to do any overtime. As luck would have it of course, the one day he only had 10 minutes to drive home, he was getting stuck in every bit of traffic. Thankfully for Anthony, the traffic lights turned green as he approached them, go straight through and turn into his driveway. As soon as he turned off his car, he heard the siren go off. He had made it just in time, any white man now seen not on his property would be sent to prison for a 6 month minimum sentence, no matter their ‘excuse' unless he had a signed letter from The Enforcers in his pocket. The restrictions that had tightened meant there was no longer a valid reason without that letter unless First Responders had been called and were assisting you.

“Do you think this new law will go through worldwide?”
“What will this mean for MALE dominated industries where there will be a skills shortage?”
“Do you think this is the only way to stop the sexual assaults that have been spiralling out of control?”
“How will this affect transgender rights?” Questions were shouted, camera flashes went off and all Payton could do was wait for the noise to die down. The media was in a frenzy over the new laws being imposed and as most of the reporters were men, it stood to reason they were concerned. The noise was starting to simmer down so Payton stepped up to the microphone.
“In March of 2020, our life changed with Corona Virus. As a world, we made vaccines and managed to eradicate it in November 2026, but major scars developed in our communities and turned into gaping chasms. Men became more violent, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assaults, Rape and Murder counts began to climb. Armed Robbery, Gang Violence, Drug and Weapons Trades all had massive count increases as well. In the last 10 years since Covid left us, the most heinous of crimes have become drastically more common. Most of the perpetrators have been white males after dark, as such all white men, including white females who identify as men and are transgender, will be subjected to a curfew of not being allowed to leave their properties during non daylight hours. Any male over the age of 15 caught away from their place of residence between sun down and sun rise will be arrested. This will go into place in at sunset on New Year’s Day. In the month between today’s announcement and the commencement date, legislation is being drafted to make sure men have the best chance of following this as we have all seen how much men struggle with impulse control. We are allowing businesses to use the time to rearrange their staffing so this is followed. For the first five years, we may allow men accompanied by two women to work in fields that, until today, have been so male oriented that there is not the staff available. This will give those industries the time and ability to update their female staff. Any person caught forcing a white man to be arrested, will receive double the sentence the male has received. The aim is to not give one gender or race an advantage over the other but to make this a safe and peaceful America. For too long, we have been known as the 1st world country with the most violence. It ends now. This is our last hope against stopping murderers and rapists from the terrible acts they bestow on the community and if it works well here, I have no doubt that it will be adopted in every place where the government truly cares for their people.”
