There are better ways than the way we're going.

What if we loved till the day we die?

What an exhilarating proposition! Why not, one may ask. What is there to lose?

Some creators love intensively and don't know it. Or won't show it.

"Love shall conquer all" is an inspiring thought, besides being faithful in the general sense of the word.

Imagine a world with love everywhere.

For a minute. Can we see it?

The movie "Clockwork Orange" comes to mind—a hater changing his ways forcefully to the extreme, by an extreme.

However, if it happened naturally, that would be miraculous.

Loving instead of hating. Learning instead of devolving. Building instead of destroying. Planting rather than cutting. And so on…

And why not? Why can't something switch in our brains to make us evolve for once and for all?

And love more, not less.

The funny thing is that most people are seeking such a state. It's blissful. The ones who do not are the unfortunate ones carrying such a heavy load that we can only feel for them.

Most of them are not even aware there's another way, and they're dealing with their own demons that give no quarter. No breaks. No ceasefires.

There's little we can do to fight other people's aberrations. The best we can do to help the world is to help ourselves.

Love. As much as you can and for as long as you can. For the ones who aren't able to.

It's the only way.

About the Creator

Rene Volpi

I'm from Italy and write every day. Being a storyteller by nature, I've entertained (and annoyed) people with my “experiments” since I was a child, showing everyone my primitive drawings, doodles, and poems. Still do! Leave me a comment! :)

You write from the best part of your soul; I feel grateful I stumbled upon this piece, on this particular morning, in such a tainted world. Thank you.
