Immortal? To Hell!
A Drabble to promote my unofficial challenge

”Where am I?” Putin asked, feeling out his face. The words came out garbled, splatting blood all over his hands.
“Hell!” someone boomed.
“But I’m immortal!” Putin protested.
“Not if your face gets cut off clean by a Ukrainian drone. Remember, ‘keep your body healthy and whole’?”
“But it’s not my fault a drone got to me!”
“Doesn’t matter. A deal’s a deal. You’re immortal and in Hell. A unique paradox.”
“And what are all these faces?”
“One of them is yours. If you find and reattach it, you’ll go back to earth!”
“But there are billions of them!”
“Exactly!”

100 words exactly make it a Drabble
Author's note: This story was inspired by a piece of art exhibited at the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation in Athens, Greece. I thought from a certain angle it looked like Putin's face.

Here's my still active unofficial challenge, if you want to play:

Nice spin on your challenge, Lana, and I wish him luck finding his face, out of billions of them. Great creative work. Nicely Done!!
Super intrigued by the paradox you presented! Creative work
Ooh. Best of luck to him on that one! He'll have a whole field of them to navigate, and may he never find the right one!
Omgggg, you're right! That does look like his face! Anyway, in the first line, there's a typo to his name. Loved your drabble!
