A whoosh of wind began to blow in from the Atlantic Ocean. Rehoboth Beach, Delaware welcomed the man and woman.
They traveled from Wilmington, Delaware and looked out the window as the Ocean Machine skipped over the waves.
“I love you so much,” Belinda Placid said.
“I love you, too,” Fincher Placid replied.
Then, the Ocean Machine elevated into the air a few feet and hovered over the coastline. It continued to hover over the sand and found a place to stop along the coastline.
The couple turned to each other and smiled and kissed. Only happiness reigned that day.

Part 1 My intentions have always been good. Suddenly something happened that made me start doing things I wouldn’t ever do. Like, I took up smoking again after ten years. This is awful. Why do I do this shit? I know it’s no good for me. I take a long drag off my cigarette. I am so pissed. Smoking helps; I guess. I have put with this for far too long. The cool Fall air feels good as I take another hit. I glance over at the empty bottle of wine leaning against my denim-covered thigh.
