C-suite members witness the groundbreaking ceremony of a financial services establishment.
Platinum shovels broke the ground. Light applause and laughter followed.
“There’s not enough people here,” Chief Technology Officer Beemer Noland remarked to Chief Financial Officer Finley Dillman’s ear. They look at Chief Executive Officer Meryl Upton.
“She knows what she’s doing,” Dillman mentioned. “She doesn't need the eighty five percent or even the ten percent. She’s flying over it all.”
She shoved the shovel into the ground and walked away from where the new bank would be constructed. She removed her helmet and shook hands.
“I still think more people should’ve shown up to this event,” Noland gritted his teeth.
