The mystery of Peru's alien space
About 1, 60 kilometers northeast of Lima, Peru, and 4 kilometers high in the Andes Mountains, in the thin air above the clouds, lies the mysterious highlands of One Macanas. It is rarely seen, but those who do are struck by its mystery.

Incredible stone carvings
In the 1950s, Peruvian archaeologist Daniel Luz was amazed by the Macanas. He saw about five square kilometers of highlands covered with stone carvings. Although experienced the vicissitudes of time, but still can show some carving skills and artistic skills. There are four altars arranged on the four cardinal points of east, west, south, and north respectively. Two huge toads lie on the altar at the north end, facing west. Scattered around the altar are stone sculptures of animals, including dogs, vultures, giant walruses, camels, lions, bears, alligators, sea turtles, and even prehistoric stegosaurus!
In addition to the animal stone carvings, there are three stone carvings particularly eye-catching: one is a double-bodied sphinx; There is also a giant stone sculpture of a human being with its face staring into space. The other is an upright sculpture of a human head, about 10 meters high, carved from a large stone and standing on the edge of a cliff. Strangely, as the sun moves, the facial contouring of the human head sculpture changes significantly: in the morning, it appears to be a young man of about 20, gazing curiously at the eastern sky; at noon, it looks like a middle-aged man who has experienced life, looking into the distance with wisdom: In the afternoon, when the sun went down, he was an old man of about eighty, watching the setting sun as if he knew exactly what the stars were.
Many of the sculptures there use relief techniques, taking into account light and shadow effects. Some effects are seen at a specific time of day, while others are seen on specific days of the year, such as the winter and summer solstices.
So who carved them? How did the carver know about the Sphinx in ancient Egypt? How did they carve the long-extinct Stegosaurus? No one knows the answers to these questions, and there are no local records or legends.
It's an amazing night of weirdness
Gerry Ware, a reporter for the American magazine Adventure, has also been to Makawas himself, along with local villagers. It was September, and the sun's radiation was so intense during the day that people could easily get sunburned. At night it was cold and people talked around the campfire, but many of them felt as if they were being watched. Ware looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary.
It was late and everyone went to bed in the tent. At about 2 a.m., Mr. Ware's CD player burst into music, playing on two discs at the same time. The CD player can only play one disc at a time, and the switch is usually locked to prevent bumps and vibrations from turning the machine on by mistake. Weirder still, when Ware checked the CD player after daybreak, it was still locked. It could not be turned on automatically.
About three o'clock in the morning the next day Weir was lying tired on his bunk, ready for bed. Suddenly, he felt a bright amber light before his eyes. Overcoming his fear, he got up and looked around the tent. He saw nothing but that all the doors were open. Afterward, all he remembered was standing on a boulder overlooking Makawas, the whole of which was bathed in amber light. I don't remember anything after that.
When he got up in the morning and looked at his watch, he was shocked: his watch was also an altimeter, a thermometer, and a barometer. The altimeter showed that at 3:15 a.m., he had climbed from 4,000 meters to 4,300 meters, then returned to 4,000 meters in 10 minutes. He had asked his fellow travelers and found that everyone seemed to have had such a strange dream, but everyone remembered different parts of it.
Why is Makawas so weird? What mystical powers are haunting it?
Some paranormal researchers believe that in the area above the clouds surrounded by the high mountains, there is a time tunnel to another time. When people enter Makawas, they unknowingly enter another space, where the laws of nature are bound to be different from the time and space we live in, such as the speed of the passage of time, the feeling of space, the effect of gravity, the propagation of sound, which may cause the above strange phenomenon. Others believe that the mysterious forces represented here are the work of aliens, and the ancient sculptures are certainly their work. Villagers say that beneath the Makawas lies a complex of caverns with vast underground temples that harbor mysterious monsters...
Other scientists have suggested that the magnetic field here may be weird and affect the brain, causing hallucinations. Does Makawas belong to a magical alternative, or is it the domain of aliens? Or is it a weird magnetic field? Or are these storytellers lying? There is no answer yet.
