The Martian: Not That One!

Earth people, earth people, what have you done? I am here living amongst you for a time period you could not imagine. Whether I will ever return to Mars depends on my Superiors; it seems I have an endless mission on Earth. I live amongst you as a seemingly respectable human. I earn a living as a blogger and writer. While my Earthly wife earns a living in a humble bakery. I have recently moved property, and though I have done it much I do not know how you Earthers put up with such an experience. It truly is a horrendous experience, as are most things that you Earthers go through.

Some suspect that the billionaire known as Elon Musk is a Martian. He has made it clear he wants to "Occupy Mars". Some question how such a man can have such wealth and power seemingly overnight. As if the man came out of nowhere. Well, should I let you into a secret or should I not? Am I breaking Martian etiquette or even secrecy? I will say this Mr. Musk is an interesting person. If you want to know the truth, watch David Bowie's "The Man Who Fell to Earth".

Am I the only Martian here? Well, there are others strategically centred around your planet. All living lives in one echelon of your society or another. We have been here forever on our missions. We live a lot longer than you. Long ago, through tech, through natural ways, diet, and spiritual technique, we lived longer. This is why we seemingly have forever, an eternity if you will. Whether on Earth or Mars, life stretches out before us, like a river that goes on goes on forever. However, we miss our home, with its red landscape, sky turned orange to pink, caused by the dust storms that consume our whole planet. We miss the lower gravity. Of course, we do not live on the surface any more. Long ago, through natural events caused largely by us, we destroyed the surface of our planet. Similar to what you are doing now. That's why my kind despair over you. We see you making the same mistakes as us over and over and over again!

However, it is not our policy to directly intervene. We feel we would be overstepping the mark, and if that were the case, we might as well declare ourselves openly and force you to change. The betterment of your planet, for you and all species on your world, would ultimately be achieved. But many of you would resist, especially all those who have a stake in your consumerist, materialistic, greedy society. It's not that we cannot handle such resistance; we can. It is just that, as I spoke earlier, we would prefer you to reach this conclusion on your own. Some of you are aware that you need to change, but will you?

Back on Mars, there are mixed views. There are those like me who feel you are worth saving as a species. While others think you should be left to wither on the vine, as it were. Others even think you are a menace nd should be destroyed. Looking at your warlike ways, your history, I can see why many would think this. And why we should not care about you and let you destroy yourselves. There have been many in your history who have tried to point the way. That this life you live now doesn't have to be this way. The most important figure who came to your world was Christ. The Creator Himself in human form. We believe and know that the Creator of the Universe exists. That is what determines our way in our world, and when we come to Earth. We are also aware of life on other worlds in our collective solar system. However, that is for you to find out; of course, we already know and have good relations with these other intelligences.

You send your probes to our world, and our world confuses you. You think you understand our world from a scientific point of view. However, we only let you learn what we think you should know. We Martians live underground now. In a perfect subterranean biosphere. Where crystal buildings rise, surrounded by the flora and fauna that once roamed on our surface. We have learned to combine tech with the natural order of things as devised by the Divine.

You call our craft UFOs, UAPs, and you do experiments on Skinwalker Ranch. These experiments ultimately fail not out of malice, but we gently push back. Your tech is sufficiently advanced to realise there is something odd from your point of view going on. You say we have a base, you say there is a crashed craft in the ridge. You see our craft seemingly coming out of portals. You see strange beings and odd anomalies that you struggle to explain. Your tech is getting better at identifying us. However, we hamper and hack your equipment for a reason. And I will not tell you why we do this. But rest assured, Earthers, it is all for the good. For now, this is how it has to be.

We bear a striking resemblance to you humans. Our evolution on Mars was similar to yours. So, we resemble you to all intents and purposes. We are the Martian version of you. The difference is our elongated heads, smaller hands, and feet. Our bodies are usually longer and thinner than yours.

Now I will bid you Earthers goodbye and get back on with my life. I will speak again when the time is right. It is my job to gradually make you aware of us.
