The Lucus Family Farm

A dream became a nightmare!

An old family barn!

The year was 1968, Benjamin Lucus was on his way to Lewistown, Montana. He always dreamt of having A cattle farm of his own, and today it was finally coming true. Benjamin sold his home in Nebraska, and he and his family made their way to the new Lucus Family Farm.

Benjamin had been working hard since he was a young boy, saving everything he could to buy his dream farm. He met his wife, Cordelia, after high school, and they married shortly after. They were blessed with two children. First, a son named Thomas and then a daughter named Ivy.

The Lucus family drove for days until they arrived at their new home. It was just a few miles outside of Lewistown. The perfect location to start a cattle farm. Benjamin searched for year's to find the right place that could fit his budget. This one, in particular, was almost like fate. He couldn't believe he had gotten a house with 25 acres of land for such a low price.

Benjamin realized it would take quite a bit of time to establish his cattle farm, but that never stopped him from reaching his goal. The area around his country home was beautiful, with open pastures and a stream perfect for raising cattle. His first task was putting up a fence around the whole property. Once he finished the fence, he built A red barn. The only thing Benjamin had left to do was buy his cattle, and he did just that.

His farm was up and running, and Benjamin couldn't have been happier. Cordelia, Thomas, and Ivy were loving their new home. They would spend their days tending to the garden and enjoying the freedom of country living. Thomas and Ivy, who were 10 and 9 at the time, had most of their fun in the barn. Until one day, out of nowhere, strange things started happening inside the barn.

The kids would run out screaming and crying, saying they heard scary noises. Sometimes they exclaimed that the hanging tools on the barn wall would fly off and nearly hit them. Benjamin and Cordelia just figured Thomas and Ivy were telling tall tales and thought nothing of it. Things got so bad that the kids refused to step foot in the barn again. It was a fight even to get them to go near the barn at all. Cordelia started to get fed up with their nonsense stories and decided to show them the barn was safe.

While Benjamin went to town to buy some farming supplies, Cordelia dragged the children to the barn. They cried and fought her the whole way. She yanked Thomas and Ivy through the door and began to inform them everything was perfectly fine. And for a few moments, it was.

Suddenly the barn door slammed shut, and a hammer flew off the wall hitting Cordelia in the head. She fell to the ground and tried to stand up but was too disoriented and lost her balance. Thomas and Ivy were crying out for her to get up and help them get the door open. They were trying with all the strength they had, but it wouldn't budge. Cordelia managed to get up off the ground and began pushing on the door with the kids. They tried everything possible but the door wouldn't open.

A deep demonic voice roared through the barn, “YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT ALIVE!”

Cordelia and the children screamed in horror! More tools began to fly off the wall. Wrenches, screwdrivers, hand saws, and nails flew all over the barn. They were inching closer and closer to the Lucus family. Nails started stabbing Cordelia randomly on her body. She fought through the agony and pushed ever harder to get the barn door open.

Just then, Benjamin pulled up to the house and got out of his truck. He started walking in when he heard screaming coming from the barn. He instantly ran over there and seen the barn door was closed. He listened and discovered the terrifying screams coming from the barn was his family .

He yelled for them to open the door, but it remained sealed shut. The kids cried out, “DAD, PLEASE HELP US!” He tried to open it himself and had no luck. Benjamin was in a panic, beating on the door, trying to get it to slide open.

Suddenly all the screams and cries stopped. Benjamin looked down at his feet and seen blood seeping out from under the barn door. He jumped back and watched as more blood pooled out in front of him. He started yelling for his family, “CORDELIA, THOMAS, IVY!”

The barn door slowly started to open. Benjamin was mortified as the severed heads of his wife and children came rolling out from the barn. He looked up only to see a bloody machete fall to the ground. Completely terrified, he turns to run for the house and call 911. The deep demonic voice speaks once more, “YOU'RE NEXT!”

Benjamin sprinted for the house and darted inside. Instead of calling 911, he grabbed a box of matches and ran back outside. On the way back to the barn, he snatched a gas can from his truck. Running until he was only a few feet away from his decapitated family.

Benjamin started hurling gas the best he could inside the barn and then pulled out a match. He strikes the match and flicked it through the door. It drops to the ground and immediately starts a fire. The flames grew bigger but abruptly came rushing towards Benjamin, engulfing him in a giant inferno. He runs into the barn with one last hope of burning it down.

The fire resided solely on the body of Benjamin. He ran all over the barn only to be overcome by agonizing pain as the flames consumed his body. His charred corpse crumbled to the ground next to his headless wife.

No one in Lewistown ever figured out what happened at the Lucus Family Farm that day. The townspeople don't dare go out there because they fear the unknown.

The old barn still sits there decaying with hardly a trace of red paint to show, waiting for its next victims.
