Two Souls in British-Ruled India

Their love was a song, a beautiful tune,

That played in their hearts, a love that was true.

With gestures and touch, they spoke so clear,

A love that defied all, a love that was dear.

----------------

Years went by, but their love never died,

Their hearts beating strong, as they looked to the sky.

They wrote letters and sent messages, with hope in their eyes,

A love that would never fade, a love that was wise.

----------------

And so, they waited, for the day they'd meet,

With hearts full of love, and memories so sweet.

Their love was a flame that burned bright,

A love that defied all, a love that was right.

----------------

So, here's to their love, a love so true,

A love that transcends all, a love that shines through.

A love that will last, forever and more,

A love that is beautiful, a love that is pure.
