Continued...

Nicole smirks, "You seem to think you know me well. You're smart, you go after what you want, but you will never get away with this. Where are my children, Roxelle? Did you hurt my children?"

Roxelle takes a piece of mango off the tray, she shrugged to Nicole's comment and pretended to straight ignore the question of where her children were while dipping the fruit in a creamy yogurt and popping it into her mouth.

Nicole got furious, "Roxelle, I'm not asking again, where are my children?" Roxelle laughs, "Don't worry your pretty self, your children are safe on another island, and if you play nice, you will see them soon."

Nicole sighs. She talks a walk along the edge of the shore, in other circumstances she would be in love with this view. Not a cloud in sight. The gentle breeze makes the heat tolerable as she lets the waves wash over her feet as she continues to walk along the shoreline. She watches from a distance, as Roxelle prepares a table of fruit and other tropical dishes, as she hears a boat in the distance.

She walks back up to the house, and lays out by the pool, closes her eyes and in deep thought. She remembers when she first met Roxelle, at the county jail, awaiting federal trial for numerous murders, and drug trafficking. She was called in to be her lawyer. She took the case with excitement and with her skills in a courtroom, she would have gotten Roxelle minimal time for all the crimes that she committed. But now, with added on arson and kidnapping charges, Roxelle won't see the light of day, and she will make sure of that. Even if that means she will have to "play along."

She doses off while in deep thought, and wakes up to children laughing.
