Prologue

So did we accept the invitation?

Yes. The short answer is yes, we did.

Of course we did, how could we pass up the opportunity to work with a top secret team.

*****

Let me introduce myself. My name is Gia. I do believe you may have already met my partner, Ambrose. He did arrive with quite the entrance, after all. If you aren't familiar, I will be sure to add my own anecdotes as well.

After we received the invitation, the first thing we did was celebrate.

Not only the special honor of being invited to join the famed, thought to be myth, team of intuitive persons with special skills; but, we celebrated our journey. Our respect and admiration for each other, the things that brought us and held us together. When all of the odds were stacked heavily against us.

A well deserved celebration.

Little did we know, that was only the beginning of our adventure.

We had only skimmed the surface prior to this point, and let me tell you; we thought we had seen it all.

I guess that is the mark of a true epic story. You think you have experienced life's deepest, darkest, most tragic mysteries; then you pass the "test", and the "real" adventure begins.

You can join us if you'd like.

I've been keeping a journal, in true detective style. I've taken tons of photos as well. I even have some vlogs I recorded, for good measure. And Ambrose has contributed his expertise, along with some of his mementos of our adventure. We really do make quite the pair.

I love the way his mind works.

Combined, we never miss a beat.

Maybe that's why those chose us. Specifically us, together. They did say the next mission required a partner.

And any detective team will tell you, a good partner, that you can count on is essential. Reliability, and of course the ability to be in sync with other comes in handy.

That's our true secret.

Believe me when I say, we were born for this.

Waxing Gibbous Moon Phase/ Sign of Aries

It was a chilly day and a very cold night. Ambrose and I returned from our weekend trip this morning.

The weekend couldn't have gone any more perfectly.

Alone now, I can't help but think of the mystery letter we received.

Who is The Time Travelers Guild?

Aren't they just a fable in the witch community?

Well clearly not, plus I have learned that there tends to be truth in every myth.

How did I become a believer in 'all things supernatural? Well, it took a bit of time to really embrace it. Several years really. It was a process. We are all taught very differently as young children. Indoctrinated to believe what "they" want us to believe. Stripped away of our own ability to think and decipher what is true and what is not.

On some level, I always "knew"... that is to say, I had this "knowing", I felt and saw things that others did not. I believed in things unseen. It wasn't easy. At first, I was a bit afraid... I didn't "understand" in a way that I had tangible proof to point to as evidence. Maybe that was the hardest part, learning to trust, without the proof.

After a series of really hard life lessons; I learned to not only trust, but also to embrace the mystery of the unseen.

I guess that's what led me to the place I am at today.

I knew things, and I observed the travesty that life had become. When faced with the choice that would ultimately lead me to my demise, or loss of my freedom (best case scenario); I fought back.

I fought the system of slavery.

The bullshit of society.

The force feeding of lies and manipulation.

I fought for myself. I fought for my life. I fought for my freedom.

I fought for my soul.

And I won.

That is why I am here today to tell my story. That is the reason I AM telling my story.

I want you to fight too.

And I want you to win.

*****

Hey all. Ambrose here.

This weekend was epic! Everything turned out as planned. Actually, everything went better than planned.

Years ago, when I met Gia , I wouldn't have believed that the universe had my back. In fact, I didn't believe it. I didn't see things the way she did. I didn't believe in magic, the way she so freely and openly did. I didn't believe that I was capable of creating magic, but she did, she believed in me. She believed in me at my lowest point. She believed in me when I was at my worst. She silently believed in me from afar, after I had pushed her way past her limits.

She had every right to walk away back then. Every reason to ignore me. To write me off even...

But she didn't.

It was her belief in me, subsequently in herself and in the universe that got me here today. To this point where I do believe the universe has my back.

I just had to believe in myself first.

I had to believe in magic.

This weekend was magical, to say the least.

And that mystery letter...

Somehow, I know it's connected to my strange encounter with the stalker drone.

So who are these people that have been watching me? Watching us?

Are they connected?

Or, are they two separate organizations watching? Why this high level secrecy?

I mean, Gia and I, we are just ordinary folk. Well, I am, she's never been anything but extraordinary. I'm not just saying that because i'm quite fond of her. It's true. She has this intensity about her. This courage and determination, it's a bit intimidating to be perfectly honest. Well, it used to be. I've come a long way down this windy road of challenges. She doesn't intimidate me anymore. She does inspire me though, and I hope that one day she can say the same about me. I walked through hell to get back to her. To get back to myself. I had to dig up courage when there seemingly was none. I did it though, in an unexpected and fated turn of events, I found my strength and will to fight.

I guess I needed that extra push out of my comfort zone. Nothing else was moving me in an inspired direction. I had pretty much resigned myself to a life of just settling for what was around me. Accepting where my choices had led me. Even though I was miserable.

She was right. She had looked me in the eye one day, gently placed her hand on my shoulder and said to me; "It's going to be okay."

I hated those words. They haunted me. It was a long time before 'everything was ok again', before I could even face the fact that things weren't okay. They became so far from okay, that her words turned into some twisted hope that one day... that maybe one day, it would be okay.

When all you have is the ghost of the person that you love, their departing words tend to bring the most pain.

So here we are, past that chapter. For that I am grateful.

New things are on the horizon. I can feel the shift that happened, but I can't explain it.

Something big is going down. Beyond epic... something that is going to change the course of civilization as we know it. That's why they recruited us, my belief anyways. That's why they have been watching us.

My only 'concern', is that we are being watched by several people, on opposing sides.

Kinda like we might be pawns.

Maybe that's just my suspicious nature. I blame my Scorpio placements; however, it is those same Scorpio placements that fuel my inquisitive and investigative nature.

Now all we can do is wait.

They said they would be in touch. I wonder what they are waiting on?

Maybe they are giving us time to 'decide', but they should already know that Gia won't pass this up. She is often more curious than I; she was definitely born for this,

Knowing now, that my place is beside her, I'd venture to say that I was also born for this.

Let's see what the future holds.

Cheers to our new adventure!

Gia <3

No one could have anticipated what happened next.

We knew the stakes were high. We assumed there would be some level of danger, I must admit, this didn't deter us. We anticipated the need for discretion and the ability to thrive under pressure. Something we were both great at. Excellent even. Our past had prepared us for extreme circumstances.

We knew that we might have to leave behind parts of our current lives.

We had already left behind our old lives. Our old selves. The us we were, prior to meeting each other. The us we became after we parted ways. The individual lives and identities we had created to survive unbearable circumstances. To survive our past experiences. Then we had to leave that behind as well, in order to become who we are now.

We had to shed the past, all of it.

It is only because we became these more 'evolved' versions of ourselves that we found our way back to each other. And, it was that journey, in finding our true selves, awakening our inner magic, finding the path; it was that journey, that is what led them to us.

Somehow, I knew that my whole life had prepared me for this moment.

Yet, I was still surprised by the means in which it arrived.

I guess that is part of the magic.

We can intuitively know, perceive, and anticipate things, but sometimes the means in which that they occur is a complete surprise.

A plot twist, if you will.

I don't know what I expected.

Another mystery letter. A nice welcome party. Instructions on how to proceed.

And Ambrose, maybe he expected something similar. We hadn't really talked about what would happen next.

In a way, we knew that anything was possible.

I guess we just expected something in the realm of 'normal'.

Now, why would I expect that, I don't know really. I can't say. Other than, after all I had experienced, I figured something mild and fun was in order.

Well, we didn't get anything mild. You might describe our next adventure as 'fun'; that all depends on your definition of fun.

How would I describe it?

That is a hard question to answer, or simplify into one word. That would be hard to simplify into one sentence. Or one beautifully descriptive paragraph even. The most accurate thing I can say, at this point anyways, is that it was truly epic.

And in true fashion, if I were writing the story; I wouldn't expect anything less.

This story sounds really interesting. I like how you're documenting your adventure. It makes me wonder what kind of special skills this top-secret team has. And I'm curious about the "test" you mentioned. How did it go? Also, what kind of challenges have you faced so far on this adventure? Can't wait to hear more.
