THE GRAVE ENIGMA OF THE MONARCH AND THE FOUR ROYALTY.
A narrative that merits attention.

In a distant kingdom, there lived a monarch who was blessed with four wives. His affection for the fourth wife surpassed that of the others; he lavished her with love and presented her with the most exquisite gifts and treasures available. The king also held a profound admiration for his third wife, frequently praising her in the courts of neighboring realms. His second wife served as his most trusted advisor and confidante; in times of trouble, he would seek her guidance, and she adeptly assisted him in overcoming various challenges.
In contrast, little attention was given to his first wife. Despite her considerable contributions to the kingdom's prosperity and her relentless efforts to earn the king's affection, he scarcely acknowledged her presence.
One fateful day, the king fell gravely ill. In his desperate quest for a remedy, he came to the realization that his days were numbered. Contemplating his royal existence, he resolved to do everything within his power to prolong it, prompting him to consult local healers for help. One healer solemnly informed him, "I regret to say, esteemed king, that there is nothing we can do to avert your fate. Your demise is unavoidable. However, I can grant you the opportunity to take one wife with you into the afterlife."
The king then approached his fourth wife, stating, "I have bestowed upon your countless gifts and cherished moments throughout our time together. As I confront death, will you join me in the next life?" "No, that is not possible!" she responded, departing without further discussion.
The king, now filled with sorrow, turned to his third wife. "No!" she replied. "Life is far too delightful here on earth! I shall remain! When you pass, I will find another!" He then inquired of his second wife. "I am truly sorry, my king, but I cannot accompany you," she said. "I can only guide you to the brink of your grave." The king's heart grew heavy, and despair enveloped him.
The king was engulfed in profound sadness, feeling an overwhelming sense of despair. His heart was heavy with pain and heartbreak. At that moment, a weary and sorrowful voice gently spoke, "I will accompany you. I will follow you wherever you may lead."
The king lifted his gaze and beheld his first wife, as though he were seeing her a new. Time had aged him beyond his years, making it difficult to recognize him due to the toll of neglect. With a heart full of sorrow and regret, the king lamented, "I should have cared for you properly when I had the opportunity."
