He always brought her flowers, no matter the occasion. Red roses for Valentine's Day, daisies for her birthday, sunflowers just because.

One day, he didn't show up with flowers. She was worried... but then he walked in with a small pot of soil and a seed.

"I want to grow something with you," he said, and she knew what he meant.

They planted the seed together, watered it, and watched it grow. It was a symbol of their love, of the way they nurtured each other and helped each other blossom.
