The end of desire

Greece was ruled by a king. The king loved wealth very much. He was crazy about gold. He had only one thought day and night to accumulate as much gold as possible. I wish in my heart that these golden rays would turn whatever they fall into gold.

The king's treasury, full of gold bricks, pots and ornaments, was in one of the basements of the palace.

One day the king was looking at the gold objects in the basement.

Suddenly the light spread in the room. The king was shocked. The room was closed on all sides.

Where did the light come from? He was still thinking when a man appeared in the middle of the light. The king understood that there could be no ordinary person coming in a closed room.

Surely this must be a special man. Before the king could say anything, this man said you have accumulated a lot of gold. The king said it is very little, I wish there were many such treasures. He said, "Your heart is not full of so much wealth."

The king said, "It is better to be rich than to be rich. It is less than what you get." The stranger said, "What do you want?" He said, "Well, with the first rays of the sun tomorrow morning, whatever you touch will turn to gold."

At that moment the stranger told the king to close his eyes for a minute. The king closed his eyes and when he opened them again he was alone in the room. The stranger was gone.

The next day the king's eyes were opened early in the morning. He was very happy as soon as the sun rose.

The golden rays of the sun came in. The king was astonished. Whatever the king touched became a bed sheet made of gold. He picked up the spectacles from the table and put them on his eyes. The whole thing was made of gold.

It was time for breakfast. There were all kinds of delicious food on the table. The king was just sitting when the little princess brought a golden rose in her hand. She cried. Gone but they have all hardened like stones.

Beloved daughter, the king smiled and said, "What is the point of crying in this? Now they have become gold and have become more beautiful and precious than before. Have breakfast with satisfaction." Tried to insert.

But the teapot became a golden cup of gold and the tea in the cup was molten gold. Who can drink gold? He tried to eat bread, butter, eggs and fish. But as soon as he touched it, everything became gold.

How can I eat and drink? How can I live without eating and drinking?

The king was upset. The princess was laughing and eating at a short distance. She looked up and saw that her father was a little upset. The king kissed her forehead with love. The king did not remember at all that everything becomes gold by touching her. The princess had also become gold. Her black hair had turned golden.

Seeing that her body had hardened like a stone, the king began to weep and said, "O Allah, what have I done? I wish my princess was alive again."

Suddenly a stranger appeared yesterday and smiled and said, "Tell me, how are you? Now you are happy, you have accumulated a lot of gold."

The king said, "My daughter, my princess is separated from me. I can't eat or drink anything. What can I do with such gold?" The stranger said, "It means you have found out the truth. The king replied: A sip of water. The stranger asked again, "Is gold good or a morsel of bread?" ۔

The king shouted, "I am ready to sacrifice all my treasure for my beloved daughter." Repent that you will never be greedy for wealth like this again.

The king sincerely repented and jumped into the pool. Then he brought water and sprinkled it on all things. Everything came to its original condition and sprinkled it on the princess. Then she became a flesh poppy girl. They got wet and dry. The king hugged him and told him the whole story. Then the father and daughter had breakfast together and went to the garden to enjoy the fragrance of flowers.
