Renali in her bathroom

Renali closed the door; she felt tired, tired of being everyone's person, tired of listening to her brother's struggles, her sister's relationship problems, her mom's rants about dad, and her dad's problems from the whole world. She wanted to fix everything; she was expected to fix everything. She was tired, tired from everything and everyone. She hated her job, but that was something that kept her busy, that kept her away from the fact that she just got cheated on. She got cheated on by someone who was supposed to be there for her, by someone who was there for her. Was she this ugly, or was she just unlucky?

He went with the girl she was scared of, he chose someone who made Renali insecure. The fact that this could be shared with no one, no one was here to fix her problems. No one was there to listen. It always felt like everyone just wanted a piece of her, but what will she give when she felt empty herself.

She looked at the vision board she made, two weeks in Paris, and a long vacation after that, but can she choose that? Can she choose herself? She could not quit her job because her family was dependent on her. She did not want to disappoint her father. No one would approve of this, no one would approve of her living for herself.

Sometimes she dreams of dying, so that at least she can be at peace, but an elder daughter isn't allowed to die, right? She has to provide financially, physically, and mentally.

Can an elder daughter choose herself, ever?
