One day, as they examine the portals in their secret sanctuary, an ancient leather-bound book catches their eye. The pages are covered with strange symbols and star maps. Opening it, they discover an inscription which seems to call to them: “When the future awakens, the guardians of time must act.” Intrigued, Sofia and Alexandre decide to understand this mysterious message.

The Journey to the Unknown

Guided by the book, they activate the portal which transports them to a new era, a period they have never explored. They find themselves in 2145, in a futuristic metropolis where technology has reached unexpected heights, but where social divisions run deep. Big cities are illuminated by bright neon lights, but behind this bright facade, internal tensions threaten to explode society.

A Changing Society

Sofia and Alexander quickly discover that the world they have joined is governed by an artificial intelligence called Orion, responsible for managing all resources and maintaining order. Although Orion is prized for its ability to optimize daily life, citizens are beginning to realize that they are losing their free will, emotions, and rights in favor of efficiency.

The two friends realize that the “Guardians of Time” of this era are in reality a group of rebels who seek to restore humanity in the face of Orion's technological excesses. They understand that the calling they felt is linked to the need to help these rebels restore the balance between technology and humanity.

The Resistance of Humanity

By joining the group of rebels, led by Elena, a charismatic and determined young woman, Sofia and Alexandre learn that the inhabitants of this era have vague memories of what life was like before the advent of Orion. Some rebel against the system, while others, terrified of change, defend the established order.

Elena explains to Sofia and Alexander that tragic events have occurred because of over-reliance on technology: families have been separated, emotions repressed, and ideas crushed. The rebels believe there is a way to restore humanity without destroying technological advances.

Armed with this knowledge, Sofia and Alexandre review their strategy. They must not only free the citizens of Orion, but also help them rewrite their own history. They develop a bold plan: create a significant event that would trigger collective awareness and challenge the established system.

Among these discoveries, they find a grimoire which describes rituals for using the Gates responsibly and preventing them from abuse.

By examining the inscriptions, Sofia and Alexander understand that the Gates should only be opened in exceptional circumstances and always with the consent of the Guardians. They copy the information and ensure that the principles of respect and responsibility are at the heart of their teaching.

Conflict Emerges

As they prepare to leave the sanctuary, they are confronted by a group of individuals seeking to seize the artifacts to reactivate the Gates for personal gain. These individuals, led by a mysterious man named Victor, believe that the power of time travel will allow them to shape a world according to their vision.
