“Ignore them,” Rowan hissed as their pace quickened.
Puffs of cold, clouded breath gave them away as they rounded the corner. A group of robed men following closely behind.
“All they do is keep their noses buried in the space between two computer screens. Harmless old-bats, can’t even perform a proper spell. We’ve got nothing to worry about.”
“I don’t know, something doesn’t feel right. Are you sure?”
“Sure as ever.” Rowan insisted. “We just need to put the letters back as we found them. Third step from the left of the Watering Bridge…everything will go back to normal, promise.”
