The Bubbly Seahorse
A Microfiction of Self-care - Straight from the Seahorse’s Mouth
There once was a seahorse, crowded out by the rest.
She decided, with sovereignty, to get some space; to prioritize.
She delved deep within, tail twined tight around seabed coral.
And thought long, and hard, and deep of her wants.
At her inner, “change course” she was happily surprised; encouraged.
“It is my own life that I hold power over,” she said optimistically, swimming further, “How exciting, this loving myself!”
She moved to a new coral, much less crowded, with plenty of room to be her silly self, blowing bubbles!
And there she spent her life as she desired; free.
About the Creator
Megan Baker (Left Vocal in 2023)
A fun spin on her last name, Baker enjoyed creating "Baker's Dozen" lists for various topics! She also wrote candidly about her mental health & a LOT of fiction. Discontinued writing on Vocal in 2023 as Vocal is a fruitless venture.
