Glendin walked the hall way of a pub after using the bathroom. Thud thud thud - His boots made his presence known as he walked a long the wooden floor. He was a force to be reckoned with and his broad shoulders and wide muscular frame was a clear reminder to not mess with him. The black curly hair was just a soft touch to his gruff exterior.

He had made his way back to the bar stool he was sitting at before and cleared his throat as he looked at this beautiful woman who was tending the bar. When his eyes got a closer glimpse at her, his mouth dropped open. Her heart shaped face was pale and soft as her curly blonde hair did the rest of the communication. She was a quick witted little thing and the personality suited her well.

"How may I help you, sir?" Her voice chimed and it was a pleasant sound for his ears to hear.

"I would like a Scotch." He answered abruptly then realized he had forgotten something. "I mean, I would like a Scotch please."

Glendin wasn't always a man with manners because he never really had the means to care. Something about the woman was different and he felt she deserved respect. He watched her as she nodded and quickly got his order done with such little effort.

"Here you go." She said as she gently slid the glass over to him. "I haven't seen you around here before." She pointed out as she made herself busy.

"I'm just passing through to be honest." Glendin responded and took a slurp of his Scotch allowing the alcohol to burn as it usually did at the back of his throat. He looked at the girls name tag and smirked, "Nice name Evie."

The Bartender was just about to tend to another customer before he had said her name. The shift in how she carried herself was significant. She knew exactly who he was what he had been sent to do. Her eyes looked into his, "Thank you," She sighed for a moment and shook her head. "You must be Glendin."

Glendin nodded and took another slurp, "You're not the one I'm hunting for." He informed then looked around the room. "I'm just glad you're the only one in to see me." He held out his right arm and whistled.

Seconds later a beautiful white and brown barn owl flew in from the front door and landed on Glendin's leather protected arm. She was a beauty as well but chose to be silent as she was perched there.

"You brought a Banshee in?" Evie's green eyes widened as she looked at the barn owl. "Are you out of your mind?" Her tone was the sound of agitation.

"Yes," He sighed and chuckled a little bit. "You have no reason to fear her."

The owl was silently perched for a while as Evie distracted herself by continuing to work and help customers. The owl looked around the room until her eyes saw this man with short blonde hair coming toward the bar. Each step this man took was making it harder for the winged creature not to screech.

Glendin did what he could to calm the owl but by the time the man got to the bar the owl started to screech and scream like a Banshee in the middle of the night. What am I supposed to tell this man? Glendin wondered as he quickly paid for his Scotch and ran out of the bar with the barn owl.

Standing outside he took deep breaths and looked at all the cars that were parked in front of the bar. That was when he noticed a familiar Motorcycle a blue painted finish and hand painted owl on the side. "That thief will get his Luna don't you worry." he said glad he could get his keys while the man was distraught from being screeched at.

Glendin got on his bike started it up then let Luna go so she could fly and lead the way to their next target.
