This Thievin' Thing Ain't For Everyone!

I've been a thief all my life. My Mama was a thief. My Grammie was a thief. Even my Daddy, they say, was a thief. I never met him. He left when I was a couple weeks old. Anyway, my point is, thieving's the family business.

It's not that we need to steal. We have all we need, in a strict sense. But there are luxuries, those extra comforts, you know. Like Mama always said when I was just a young fella, "It's your world too, so get out and take what you want from it."

A good heist has to be planned, but spontaneous. That sounds oxymoronic, but it's really not. You've got to be ready. You've got to scope out the target and its location, points of entry, exit. You have to know the players, their patterns, when they come and go. Careful study is essential.

An innocent, credible presentation is critical. Build that trust. Take that time. Trust me, it pays dividends.

Then, using the element of surprise, get in, and take the loot!

Like last night. I waited, I watched. Swiftly. Surely. Heart pounding. In and out. Long gone before anyone noticed. On the balcony...mmmmmmm, steak!

Who wouldn't trust this face?
