Like the title suggests; a person who befriends another amazing person.

Bridgette was the typical loner. Didn't care much for trivial chatter but lit up when someone talked about animals.

However, she didn't know how to make friends.

Conversely, boys were quite interested in her. They all commented on her being "so hot."

But she loved the company of animals, volunteering at the local shelter just to be around them.

One day, at school, one of her classmates brought in a kitten for everyone to see. She smiled from ear to ear at the sight of the creature.

But then, after school, she saw a commotion outside on the sidewalk.

The kitten had stopped breathing!

She immediately rushed into action and gave the little guy mouth-to-mouth and massaged his sides.

Not long after that, the miracle of life returned to the poor baby, and again, Bridgette smiled broadly.

The highlight of her year.

Being 15, her parents tried to determine if something was wrong with her. It wasn't.

"An introvert," said the pediatrician. ”Absolutely normal at her age." He added.

Days went by in a dull routine.

Going to school, coming home, writing in her diary, and daydreaming for hours.

Then, the girl whose cat she helped revive wrote her a letter so full of emotion it made her weep.

Her name was Chrissy, and she simply asked if they could be friends.

That shaped a massive smile from ear to ear.

They had so much in common they could've been twins.

Life…

Because you never know.
