The prelude of this story is going to be a special one, something that no one has ever expected. It's going to be a serenade for the love for the story that life brings. A long journey is incoming, one never commenced before and for which you, we, might not be ready.

The city of Tranquillity is going to be our first stop, a town where the only noises you can hear are those of Nature: birds singing, bugs working, the wind blowing, and water running. A place for peace, nobody can deny it.

The second stop is the Crimson Desert, a place not for the faints of heart, a burning and dry soil which, instead of water, runs on blood.

To pass beyond this hell we'll have to face the protector of the doomed pyramid and survive surrounded by his minions, the dead warriors, Dunnere, the Chained lord of the cursed sands.

It's going to be a tough battle, but we need to win to reach the next step and wash in the Teardrops Oasis and continue our adventure. Will that holy water let us enter in its belly with our skins soaked in blood?

As the fight rises the sun slowly slides behind the mountain, and shadow comes, but we are strong and defeat the enemies with a few slashes of our rapiers.

The oasis is next and is crucial for our journey to cleanse from the blood of our opponent if we want to arrive at our next stop if it will let us.

After bathing in the freshwater of the oasis, fearing for the opposite all along, we walk and find ourselves at the edge of the mysterious forest of Faewynn, the quiet idol of time.

Before that, we let the battle rage we have to pray to this place for it to bless us and be by our side.

Now that the homage is finished we allow ourselves to rest and recover from the last battle. It's not easy for us to bathe in sacred waters when dirty by someone else blood.

Our new goal is to battle and win the flowing dark energy emanated by the intruder, Aldwyn, the Insane Paladin of Chaos. It's going to be a tough opponent, clever, mischievous, fast and somewhat reckless.

This is going to be harder than the previous one, but the prize is far too scrumptious to lose. So here we are, with our longswords and our fierce shields. The enemy has no minions this time, so the victory is easy and served on a silver plate. We don't believe in what we have just achieved.

What's better than the peace of mind in the warm castle of our host Lord Faewynn? We thrive in the longing contemplation in his shadowed kingdom. This is even better than the mysterious Forest that we left not a long time ago.

One last step awaits us to complete this incredible voyage of ours, across serene spaces, battlefields and restful realms: to become Soldiers of the eternal night and kill the monstrous Ordmaer, King of the Windymoon to bring back the harmony that once hovered under these purple skies.

For too many years the war deprived parents of their sons and daughters and the youngster of their parents and sisters and brothers. We have trained ourselves for years in the harshest conditions to regain our lands back and now we are here to win, not to brag about it.

Will we survive and accomplish a goal this big? I hope we will, and that this epilogue will bring to future generations the tales of the helmet's knight and of his many soldiers.

Inspired by Tales of the Helmet's knight by Helmet, delving into the vast realm of In The Woods channel. Delve even deeper into the medieval dungeons of Provence.
