Take Us To Forever

Every Villian Deserves Empathy

By Valentine VampirePublished 2 years ago 24 min read

Edith lay in her bed, under her sweat-soaked sheets. She had been under here for a few days, not moving, depressed of course. She was 25, single, and lived alone. She worked remotely as an online tutor, never showing her face. She didn't have to. Her job allowed her to stay in her little mole hole she made for herself and never have to leave the comfort of her own bed. She loved it there. It smelled familiar. It looked familiar. It was safe. It was comfortable. It never disappointed her. Today, she was rotting away on her phone, looking amongst the war zone that was the popular social media site "GalaxyGroove," where hundreds of mind-numbing souls could unleash their most unwanted but wanted opinions to the internet, and let the battle commence.

Today's topic of squabble involved the debate of who should headline the most anticipated festival in North America: "Walla Walla," located in Walla Walla, Washington. A large green valley surrounded by mountains, the perfect landscape for a music festival. It's November, and the festival takes place on Valentine's Day. The lineup is always highly anticipated and debated. Edith pattered about the site, waiting for the release. She filtered through the comments on Walla Walla's page, looking at the multiple rumors and speculations of who would be in attendance.

The most anticipated event of the year:

Walla Walla 2016 Lineup

Headliners

Friday - Nora Rivers

Saturday - Elvelli

Sunday - Nero

The lineup was also filled with smaller artists, but everyone was here for the headliners. The comment section was bipolar, with some rejoicing and others rioting.

JoggingMommy56 says “ HELL YEAH! THIS IS THE BEST LINEUP I’VE EVER SEEN! Buying my ticket now :) ”

MoneyOnMeMalachi says “This shit is fucking wackkkk asffffffff. Walla Walla gets worse every year bro”

There was, however, one overarching similarity seen across the board in the comment section: disgusted and betrayed feelings of fans who were hoping it would be the year that alternative singer Elizabeth voix des étoiles would finally be headlining the festival, but instead, the spot was given to Nora Rivers. Robbed and infuriated, her faceless fans came to battle with large torches and morning stars, ready to swing against those who dared speak foul about their queen.

“I’m so SICK of seeing Nora Rivers everywhere. It’s so fucking annoying! She is annoying! Her fans are annoying! ALL of this is ANNOYING!

How can you snub Elizabeth voix des étoiles from a headlining spot AGAIN!? Fuck walla walla” said anonymoususer37922

“Nora Retard has no personality and her music is shit. #WhatHappenedToWallaWalla” commented by user voixdesLesbian69

The hashtag “#WhatHappenedToWallaWalla” became the number one trending topic on GalaxyGroove. Edith, along with all the other furious fans at this lineup, was extremely displeased and beyond angry. “Elizabeth voix des étoiles” was her favorite female artist ever. She tried to see past the anger because her favorite male artist would be headlining, “Elvelli,” although she was excited. It did not change her feelings about the situation. Elizabeth needed justice. Her heart raged with anger as she put in her own two cents on the matter, typing with vigor and rage. Her thumbs spoke before her thoughts did.

“Elizabeth voix des étoiles is the queen of modern-day music! Those of you who like Nora RETARD should deeply consider taking out your daddy's gun and shooting yourself in the head #DeathToNoraRetard” by user “VoixDesVampire”

Instantaneously Edith’s comment had grossed 20 in seconds. What she failed to remember is that Nora Rivers' fan base is much larger than EVDE fans, and they are even more insane.

“What a weird thing to say you fucking loser freak,” said user “NoraRiversIsMyGF”

User “FortniteNoraKiss” says “Maybe take your daddy’s gone and kill yourself?”

“Watch your fucking back bitch. We will COME FOR YOU!” said user BlinkingBlushedBabe which had grown in over 14k reposts and likes.

Edith's screen had become infested with comments like these. Her face began to turn red from pure embarrassment and fury as she went on a rampage through her apartment, screaming very loudly before throwing her phone at the wall and pacing throughout her house. She threw her sheets off the bed and headed to the bathroom to the bathtub and turned only the scorching hot water

She yelled at the top of her lungs clapbacks that she mentally told herself were to the mean comments online, but really it was to reassure herself.

"I'M NOT A FUCKING LOSER”

“I’M NOT A FUCKING FREAK! YOU ARE THE FREAK! I HATE YOU NORA RIVER!”

“I HATE NORA RIVERS!”

She went to her various posters of EVDE and sat next to them touching the paper and crying. Kissing it and caressing it.

“I'll see you one day Elizabeth! One day we will meet! Nobody understands how alike we are! How much we have in common! They want to see us apart. They know if we were together we would be unstoppable.

Sobbing, her crying was interrupted by the sound of the water trickling from out of the tub. She went into the bathroom and fully clothed, immersed herself in the boiling water. Her skin began turning bright crimson. Burning her snow-white skin.

She was completely silent as she submerged herself more deeply under the water. Her face held all the tension as held her teeth tightly closed together. Nearly causing them to snap. She slid back into the tub. Now completely submerged in the boiling bath. She opened her eyes from under the water and began Yelling for a good 5 minutes. Sitting, screaming. After having enough she slowly got out of the bathtub. Her skin steaming from the heat and soaking wet she went into her room and grabbed her cracked phone. She looked through the sea of notifications. Trying to find at least one redeeming one.

New Post From Elvelli!

“Pop up show Tonight! Spokane Washington! 8 pm at the Twisted Jester! First come first serve! It’s gonna be a great show! <3”

Edith’s face lit up in excitement but now also anxiety. Elvelli was one of her favorite artists right below EVDE. Her obsession with him ranged back from when he first blew up in Los Angeles on Spotify, but she could never get the chance to go see him. Now was her opportunity and it was time to seize it.

She ran to her dresser and put on some ruby red tights and black shorts. She threw on an original Elvelli off-the-shoulder cut-off top. She put on some jewelry. She panicked at what she would do with her hair and makeup. She grabbed some black liner and anxiously placed it messy on her upper and lower lash lines. She rubbed her eyes to give the smudged smokey effect. She touched her redness up with some concealer, put on some mascara, and a ruby red lip.

“My fucking hair god dammit!”

She ran into the bathroom and teased her damp hair while simultaneously running the blow dryer through it. She put some hairspray in to puff it up. Running out of time she eagerly fit her feet into her combat boots, grabbed her bag and her keys. It couldn't have taken more than 10 minutes from the time she saw the notification to the time she headed out the door. She worked quickly like that. Especially when she saw something she wanted.

She arrived at the venue. It was freezing as it was the middle of winter and she forgot her coat and her hair was still damp and crispy from the hairspray. She got into the line for the show and to her luck she was the first person there.

“How many tickets babe?” said the older lady working the booth

“Just one please,” said Edith

The lady handed her a wristband

“Enjoy the show darling here is your wristband. Don't lose it, you can't get back into the venue if you do.”

Edith went inside the small venue and went to the bar to grab herself a cherry vodka sour and two shots of Skyy. After tipping her bartender and taking back the shot she headed over to the stage and began to wait. Checking her phone for any word from EVDE on GalaxyGroove, but nothing yet. Just a ton of comments in response to Edith telling her to kill herself

Edith takes over the monologue in her head

Overheating heart beating. Hot sweat and cheap beer travels down the aisles of crowds of people trying to see their favorite artist perform. They don’t know we have a special relationship. One so special it goes past these 4 walls stained in blood and body fluids. Past the roof where those stage lights of sea sapphire, emerald goddess green, and

ravish me ruby red lights. They deceive me into believing that what I’m feeling and what I am is real. Because it is real.

I just want to hear him. I want to see his face on the stage. I want to feel him taunt me with his songs that he plays to my soul. Teasing me Like he so selfishly has been.

Impatiently I wait for him to come on stage as the venue begins to pour with more people. Excited until what felt like a splash came across my face and down my shirt

“Oh shit—sorry bitch”

Happily and chuckling, the golden retriever and his concubine shoulder checked my body. spilling the girls' drink all over me.

THAT SON OF A BITCH!! Doesn’t he know how important it is for me to look my best for my sweet Elvelli! I think I still have some time to clean myself up before he comes on stage.

Hastily I traversed through the pit of smelly guys and bimbo whores who think they understand him. They think they know who he is. They don’t know him like I do.

Into one fog of fumes and into the other, the woman’s bathroom. 20 different perfumes all coagulate in the air along with the standard smells of piss, shit, and of course the fish.

Onward I pushed through the line of girls nearly about to wet themselves to the bathroom mirror. I grabbed my chapstick out of my black ripped jeans pocket. Burt's Bees cherry flavored. Elvelli says his favorite scent is cherry. While cleaning off my face with paper towels I couldn’t help but overhear the conversation of 3 spectacularly annoying pieces of human life.

“So we are definitely going to get to meet him after the show right?” The blonde one with the horribly drawn tattoo of Elvira pegged the question to her 2 friends.

“Bitch of course we are. I’m not leaving here until he signs my tits'' Said the little redheaded girl

“I’m not leaving until I fuck him” said the pack leader with the long black hair

They talked so loud and obnoxious that I’m sure you could hear them from outside the bathroom. The sound of them made every part of my body cringe in disgust. All three erupted into laughter as they fixed their boobs and put their cheap lipsticks on.

“Fuck I forgot my cigarettes. Will y’all come with me to the car to grab them?” Said the redhead.

“Girl, you're a fiend. I’m trying to get back to the front row. I'll probably have to let some loser grab my ass to get that spot. If you really want it, go but I’m not going” The jet black haired harlot replied

The redhead looked at the blonde bimbo who shook her head and went back to checking herself out in the mirror.

“Ugh fuck you guys” said the redhead before storming out of the bathroom irritated.

Who the hell do these bitches think they are? How can they dehumanize him so vulgarly? It’s disgusting. I really don't want to have to do this again but this feels warranted. You can’t talk about someone like that! You just can't! I side-eyed the girl as she left, unsuspectedly the other friends were distracted putting my chapstick in my bag. I headed out the door and followed her.. I need to do this for him. I need to do it for you Elvelli…

She went past the bouncer and out the doors which I creeped behind. She parked near the back of the lot next to a tree. She unlocked the car and threw her body in. In search of her pack of cigs. Below me was a broken Budweiser bottle. I grabbed it and with a lucky strike, I gouged it into the side of her neck. Stabbing her repeatedly. Until her eyes fill up with her own blood.

She squirmed and tried to scream, but not before I stabbed her vocal cords making blood gush from the hole in her neck and her mouth.

“You stupid cunt!” I spit in her face. I took her shirt and cleaned her blood off my hands and face.

Cheering came from a distance.

Fuck! I need to get going. I closed the car door and puffed my hair up a bit. The blood was still stained on my hands. I placed them in my pockets. I walked towards the door before a security guard stopped me

“Hold up miss. Where is your wristband” he demanded

I looked down at my wrist

It fell off...

My wristband fell.. Off..

“I… it… I had it… I don't know where…” I panicked

“You can’t come in without a wristband. I’m sorry mis”

“Can I just buy another ticket?” I pleaded

“Nope sold out show sorry miss. I’m gonna have to ask you to leave if you do not have a wristband,” he said sternly

Tears and anger began to wash over me as I tried to think of a plan to get back inside

“Hey, Gerald. Don't worry about it she has VIP passes” said a silky soft voice

I turned around. My eyes wide and bright like the moon.

It was Elvelli.

Speechless. I looked at him in awe

“You’re… Elvelli”

“Sometimes… At least I was when I woke up.”

I laughed. He is just how I thought he was. A great sense of humor.

“I had a ticket. I just had to run to my car and it must have fallen off in the time between” I explained to him

“Hey Don't worry about it. I got you. Come on you can come backstage with me. I like to get some fresh air before I perform, so it must have been fate that you were standing out here too”

He smiled the warmest smile at me took my hand, and led me to the stage door.

“So are you from here originally? Or are you just here for the show?” he asked me

“I've lived here my whole life. I love the mountains and the snow. I don't think there is any better place for me to go” I replied

“That's how I feel about California. It’s beautiful there.” he looked at my shirt and his eyes grew wide. “Wow, now that's a relic you have on. How long have you been a fan?”

Blushing I looked down and realized he was talking about my shirt

“Oh my… well a long time… Since you came out with your first songs on Spotify. Back when you were recording songs in your closet”

He laughed “Haha you really know your stuff huh? Well, thank you for listening. I literally wouldn’t be here without the support so thank you.. What song do you wanna hear tonight?

“I really love Max’s mom”

“Ah, that's an older one. I typically don't like performing that one anymore, but just for you I’ll fit it in the setlist.”

“No fucking way! That would be amazing” I said eager

“Just promise you will be cheering for me okay?” he smiled at me

“Of course! I'll be the loudest one!” he smiled and then opened the door.

“Are you ready?” said what I assumed was his manager

“I think I am. Hey, I'm gonna show you a little showbiz secret. Come with me”

He grabbed my hand and led me up to the catwalk of the theater. Down below was the stage and the crowd

“So my plan is when the show starts in a few minutes I’ll come down from this catwalk and have a grand entrance. Sounds pretty cool huh? I hate heights though. Being up here makes me wanna throw up. You don't mind being up here for the show do you?”

I couldn't help myself but look deeply at Elvelli with awe. He was so beautiful and so cool. I couldn't resist latching my arms around him and squeezing hard. Hoping I would never have to let go.

He stood silent and held me back.

“I'll make this a good show huh?” he said comforting

I kept holding onto him. His intro song started to play through the speakers. The show was about to begin, but I couldn't get myself to let go of him. I held on for dear life. I could feel him pulling away from me gently, but at this moment he is mine.

“Hey, I gotta go okay? We can hang out after I promise. I already have a box of donuts in the bus if you wanna eat some after?”

Like an anchor at sea. I wasn't budging from him. I could feel the resistance from him as he pushed me off

“Okay I gotta go now.” selfishly I yanked on him.

“LET GO!” Elvelli shouted

He pushed me aggressively off him. Causing him to fall backward over the catwalk and onto the stage. He fell at least 20 feet straight down. In horror I watched.

The crowd gasped and screamed bloody murder as blood began to pour from his body.

I dashed out of the theater quickly. Before someone could notice I was up here. While everyone's attention was on the stage. I snuck through the backstage door and to my rabbit. I left quickly. I could see the police sirens and ambulance rush by me as I drove away. I pulled into the woods and hit my hands against the wheel

FUCKKKKKK! GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKER! I CANT FUCKING BELIEVE THIS!!!!

I got out of the car Screaming and in hysterics I yelped to the sky. Hitting my head against the tree causing me to bleed

YOU ARE FUCKING CRAZY. SO SO SO SO SO STUPID. I CAN UNDERSTAND KILLING SOMEONE WHO DESERVES IT. I'VE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT, BUT SOMEONE YOU LOVE??? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. YOU STUPID FUCKING CHILD! You should kill yourself. What kind of a person are you?

My poor Elvelli… I’m so fucking sorry. I'm so so so sorry. You didn't deserve a death like this. I'm so so so sorry. God, please don't banish me to hell for my accident. I didn't mean to kill him. God please I’m sorry.

I cried and cried. Pleading and begging with any god who would hear me. Until a moment of revelation.

It hit me like a passing comet. A rush of adrenaline and clarity! It was Elvelli coming into my body! He was inside me! Elvelli will be waiting for me… he is watching over me now! I can feel him! Coursing through my veins!

Because I killed him. Accidentally! technically, I’m the owner of his being, because I took his life. He is forever connected to me! So in the afterlife, he will be waiting for me! He would have thought it was sweet that I loved him so much that I killed him! He will think it’s poetic and hardcore! Badass! And that's how he lived his life! Intense and like an epic poem! He will be in our heaven waiting to greet me! His soul is forever bound to me! Nobody else! Just me!!!

HAHAHA AMAZING!

I looked to the sky dancing and rejoicing in the moonlight.

“I know you are up there Elvelli! I know you must be impatient for me to meet you up there my love and I know! I will be there soon!

I began to walk back to the car to head back home and prepare for my death. Prepare myself to meet with Elvelli and go be together in eternity. How would I do it? Gun maybe? Hang myself? Draino injection? I had the car ride to think about it. I got back in and saw a notification from GalaxyGroove

“Galaxygroove notification from Elizabeth voix des étoiles”

“In response to the recent tragedy regarding my dear friend Elvelli. I'm going to be doing a free pop-up show tomorrow in Los Angeles at the El Rey in honor of him. I will be playing a mixture of my songs as well as covers of his songs. Tickets are linked in my bio so be sure to grab one before they all all gone. Thank you, everybody”

My priority shifted as I pressed the link to get a ticket

“COME ON WORK YOU DAMN PHONE!”

“Thank you for your patience. Your e-ticket will be sent to your email”

I'm going to see Elizabeth voix des étoiles…. In Hollywood. Elvelli’s home as well! It’s perfect! I headed back to my apartment.

I put random clothes into a bag. Some makeup and cash. I also reached for my Luger and put it inside my black and white Tokidoki bag. I grabbed a pen and some paper and wrote a note for my dad

“To father,

I'm going to my destiny! To kiss fate on her beautiful lips!”

I put the note on my counter and looked at my apartment for what was seemingly going to be the last time. In 20 hours I was going to see Elizabeth voix des étoiles and I was going to have her be mine forever.

I turned on my radio and i drove..

The El Rey theater presents “Sold Out! Elizabeth Voix Des étoiles”

The line was massive to get inside. Filled with girls, gays, and everything on the spectrum. Many holding signs, flowers, and various homemade gifts to shower Ms. Elizabeth. Because of the drive, I was forced to be placed at the back of the line. The doors were to open at 6 o'clock, but it was rapidly approaching 6:45. Two giant men in black suits opened the doors to the venue and yelled to the crowd of fans.

“Attention everyone! We regret telling everyone but tonight's show has been massively oversold. If you are at the back half of the line you will not be able to get into the event tonight and on behalf of Elizabeth she sends her apologies.”

The front half of the crowd was cheering while the second half where I was, engulfed in tears.

“ ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!” yelled a woman next to me

Followed by a bunch of boos and yelling

What fake fans? Can they not understand that these things happen? If you really want to see someone you will make it happen. That's what separates me from the “fans” and true genuine love. It's called dedication, a lot is lacking, but not i. No not I

The people in my back half of the line walked back to their vehicles or waited for Uber to pick them up. A bouncer was guarding the back of the line to make sure nobody could come in.

“Excuse me, sir. I came all the way from Spokane Washington. Are you sure there is no way I can’t get it? I have a ticket? I drove all the way out here and it's a really long drive back to leave empty-handed.” I batted my eyes at him.

“I'm sorry miss. It’s a safety hazard. I can't let more than the maximum amount of people into the venue or else we can be shut down and then nobody will get to see the show. I'm truly sorry.”

Angry and frustrated at this blockhead piece of shit. I berated him

“Well fuck you then” I yelled

“You as well mamm,” he said calmly like I wasn't the first one tonight to have told him that.

I walked away from him. Pissed. Notably pissed. Okay, plan B is the back door. I headed around the building through the back alley to see if I could get in through the stage door.

“Fuck it’s locked! A few meters away was a worker for the venue with a badge around her neck. She was smoking a cigarette next to a dumpster.

Nobody was going to come into this alley. I crept up, reached for her lanyard, and began to choke her out with it. Pulling on her neck hard. I reached around and put my hand on her mouth. Pulling tightly.

“POP” her neck bone snaped As she collapsed to the floor. I took the lanyard from her carcass and picked up her body to throw it into the dumpster. I moved the trash bags around so the body wouldn't be so out in the open and headed to the door where the stubborn lock now opened with ease. I closed it behind me and went inside.

In the back, there were workers frantically getting things ready for the show. A Woman with a very important looking badge handed me a tray of Red Bulls and red Marlboro cigarettes.

“Take this to the artists’ room now please”

I nodded, taking on my new persona, and headed down the hall. I peeked at the writing on the doors until I found the one that said “Artists Backstage”

This was it. Behind it was Elizabeth's room. Where I would meet my idol. My reason for living. My god. I knew fate would bring us together, and now it's time for fate to take us home.

I knocked on the door. A soft airy voice replied

“Come on in”

I opened the door.. There she was. Elizabeth voix des étoiles. long auburn hair. Puffed up like Priscilla Presley’s which made her look 6 inches taller than she already was standing at the same height as me, 5’7 she was wearing a long off-the-shoulder old Hollywood white cream dress. She looked like she was heading to a movie premiere. Her looks could kill but I was already a dead man walking…

Her eyes were like watercolors as if she had been sobbing for a while. It didn't help but make her hazel eyes pop that were hiding behind red eyeliner. She is just how I imagined.

A god

She placed the tissues that she was holding down beside her.

“Oh, I'm sorry. I don't like anyone seeing me like this. Thank you for bringing me the items I requested”

She grabbed the Red Bull and opened it. She grabbed the cigs too and lit one up in the room

“Don't tell on me k? It's been a rough 24 hours.”

She looked at me up and down. I wasn't wearing the El Rey employee uniform. I had on a lacy red dress and some matching converse. The workers must have thought I was part of her team. She chuckled at me.

“You don't work here huh? You're dressed way too cute to work here. I love your style. It's adorable. Where did you get your necklace?”

Too stunned to speak. My words fumbled out

“I...ittt’sss from a little thrift store in Spokane Washington”

“It's adorable… Spokane huh? Pretty big mess over there since the Elvelli concert..Are you a fan? He is one of my greatest dearest friends in this industry.”

“He was my favorite artist…. Besides you of course.”

She began to laugh

“Well, that's very kind. I'm honored to be put in your favorite artist ranking. He is the best.”

“I got to meet him once… and yeah he was…. Revolutionary…” i told her

“Come sit next to me. Do you want a smoke?” She handed the box to me. I grabbed one as she lit it up for me.

“Thank you! I don't wanna sound too much like a fan girl, but your music really changed my life. Your music. It's not just music…. It’s a way of living. It's air. It's beauty. It's love, lust, sex, death, life, divine, simply unreal! You have no idea how much your music has touched my soul. I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for you and your songs.”

I teared up telling her how I felt. She smiled and walked over to the speaker turning it on

“I’m gonna play some music if that's okay.”

“Of course! Of course!”

She smiled as "Lady Grinning Soul" by David Bowie played on the speakers

“So many artists have made me feel that way in my life. That's why I started making music. I wanted to feel that way about my own songs. I wanted to make music that meant something to people. That meant something to me. Granted. I'm such a fangirl too. There are artists I would follow to every show. Like a groupie. Just for a taste of their magic. I would have died for them. Killed for them. I would have probably even killed them just so I could have a piece of them forever. I never thought my music would make someone feel that way, but here me and you are together, and my music touched you. I must have done something right along the way. What is your name?” she asked me

I knew it. We shared the same soul. My other half. The other part of my heart. She understood me and I understood her. In just a few words. We already knew so much about one another. We were already dead

“You have no idea! You are so real! Natural! Authentic! The true embodiment of talent and the soul of an artist….Edith… my name is Edith…”

She smiled looking at her cigarette. Entranced in her thoughts.

“Even now. I have those same feelings. When I love. I love rough. I love hard. I love carelessly. To die at fate's hands of someone who I love or who loves me. That would be blissful. You have the soul of an artist too. I can tell you love the same. I find that even more beautiful than the music I make”

The room was silent for a moment. I could pick up what she was throwing at me. She wanted to leave her with me. To go where Elvelli was. Where we could all be connected. I just had to send us there. I reached into my bag and pulled out my Luger and held it in my hands.

Her eyes got wide and then died back down.

“Luger huh? That's a hell of a gun. Shot one a few times myself. Are you going to kill me with it?” she asked me calmly. Like a princess waiting for her love.

I sat there.

" Yes, I planned to, but I’m going to shoot myself after and it won’t be death! Not at all! I love you Elizabeth. More than any of these other people ever will. More than your friends, your family, Your “fans, me! I love you. I love you selfishly. Purely, and without limits. We can leave this horrible world and go somewhere where it's me, you, and Elvelli!! The three of us. Our own personal heaven. Where we can be free!”

She looked up at me. Putting the pieces of the puzzle together of who killed Elvelli

“Edith I have no intention to fight this with you. If I’m to die now. Then I’m to die now and I accept my fate, but I do feel responsible for telling you that Elvelli isn't dead... He fell pretty hard and got scruffed up a bit, but he is going to make a full recovery. "

My heart sank to my chest. Could it have been? That my manifesto was built on the foundation of a facade? I sank into the couch and sat the gun in my lap. All that has led me to this point has been nothing but a lie. Elizabeth put her warm arms around me and held me in her gentle embrace.

A security guard busted the door. Before I could think, He rushed towards me. Unknowingly pushing Elizabeth to the floor in his pursuit to tackle me. I looked at Elizabeth to see she may have been injured in the fall as she grabbed her arm like it was causing her pain.

“BACK UP ELIZABETH! THIS WOMAN IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS!” He took my gun and pointed it toward my head

“YOU KILLED MY WIFE YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH!” the guard screamed in my face getting his disgusting spit on me.

He pushed the barrel of the gun hard onto my temple. cracking my skull Tears filled his eyes. I closed mine. Whatever was to happen after this was deserved. All the lives I’ve taken or almost taken. All for a dream that was never meant to be. I was going to die and pay for my sins, but I got to meet my favorite people. I got to know them, have a conversation with them, and in those moments I was in heaven. In this moment now as I look at the face of a god.. Elizabeth. I’m in heaven now.

“POP, POP, POP” the security guard sounded the gun off. Sending two bullets into Edith’s head and then into his mouth.

Silent tears trailed down Elizabeth's cheeks. She had stood up from where she was to turn the radio up louder. She walked back towards Ediths’ body and kneeled next to her, holding her lifeless corpse and petting her hair. The blood on the back of Edith's head had gotten all over her dress. Rocking back and forth. Elizabeth grabbed a cigarette that was in her bra, and lit it up fading into the music as it played loudly through her room. meanwhile, the inside of the venue was flooded with the sounds of screams and chaotic evacuations led by the workers.

Elizabeth glared down at Edith. Her brown eyeliner was smudged as well as her lipstick. She moved Edith's tangled hair that was stuck on her bloody face.

“Rest easy my lovely beautiful artist. ” Elizabeth whispered to Ediths corpse. She reached down to her and pressed her lips gently onto hers giving her a final kiss.
