Death Dreams Dire Wolves: Part Seven
Chapter Thirteen: Promises Manzer and Beatrice struggle to recover from the intensity of the event that just took place in front of them. The intense blast of energy that had put the both of them on their backs not only affecting their sense of sight but of location as well as they struggle to identify where exactly it is that they rest. It's almost as if someone lit a firework in between them that set a certain boundary into motion, one that comes with dire consequences if ever crossed. Despite the lack of cognitive and visual perceptions the back room of the shop that they are in no longer has light in it to give them any sort of guidance or locational substance. So the two are left to clumsily feel around the room with their hands.

Death Dreams Dire Wolves: Part 5
Nine: Temptation of Saint Therin The school's hallways are brightly lit with the fluorescent lights that keep the details of the beige stone walls and tile floors ever diligent to their decree of a no nonsense environment. Hallways of empty tile and hollow stone echo even the rustling of a feather as it comes to rest on the ground. Like moat Schools this one was designed with the intent of its students being heard but never seen and so much to that purpose of the easy echolocation, the hollow halls now feed into the anxiety of Manzers position as someone who only wants to escape to the outside world in one piece.

Mingled: Chapter Four
The drive to the reservation was about an hour long. We didn't talk much. Kept the music turned up. I was kind of excited to visit, even under the circumstances. I hadn't been to the reservation in a few months. It was always sort of an escape for me to go there, just to get away from the hustle and the bustle of the city. The reservation was in the center of a thick forest, almost in a hidden fashion. Most of the residents lived in cabins they had built themselves. It was so beautiful in the fall when all the leaves turned. It was my favorite time to visit. We would eat there. A feast would be prepared for our arrival. It was almost surreal, like walking into an old-time village. When we pulled up, Michael's parents, Sue and Richard, were waiting for us. I jumped out of the car and ran up to them, hugging them.

He was noticing a trend, and it was something that would get them their answers.

Lake of Souls Chp 3
Previous Chapter Walking through the forest I thought about the fact that the Earth King probably already knew that I was here. He was simply sitting on his mountain and watching me. I would assume he intended to turn the earth itself against me at some point in my journey to him so I had to keep my guard up. The forest seemed to be crowding in around me the further I walked. The trees were coming closer together to the point that I was having to turn sideways to get through them. Vines were tangling up my feet every few feet. Low hanging branches were hitting me and cutting at my skin.

Red - Ch5
Caution:- This chapter contains potential triggers. I was terrified. Only minutes earlier I had been riding the cloud of elation. How had things changed so quickly? I should have known Simon would look for me; that he wouldn't stop till he found me. I should have known it was a mistake to leave in the first place. Curse that stupid old woman for making me believe things could be different. Things could never be different. I had tried to make a change and it had failed spectacularly. As far as I could see, I was trapped and doomed to spend the rest of my life in hell with Simon. My ribs burned and throbbed and I fought to breathe. I was ready to admit defeat.
