Looking around at the changes since his last visit, he wondered why Cherie moved back to the midwest. The signs of depression in the area were prevalent. Jason questioned what brought her home and how Roger knew where to find her.

Chapter 1 The sun peaked through the fluffy white clouds, aiming a ray of light at the world. A sweet scent of morning dew on the grass filled the air as a slight breeze blew across the lake. Over the lake, a falcon flew across the water, hunting for fish near the surface. As a sudden froth of water erupted from the spot the falcon dived to, the impressive bird lunged up and away from the surface, his prey held by razor-sharp claws.

A Readers Dream: The Shopping Trip
Alyssa wasn’t sure how long she had spent in the bathtub. She got out to find her toes were as wrinkly as her fingers. It was worth it, she felt better than she had all week. She towel dried and was surprised when her hair didn’t frizz up like normal, it stayed straight and smooth, just the way he fixed it. Alyssa wrapped her towel around her and opened the door. The first sight that greeted her was Gene laying on the bed staring at her, Alyssa jumped nearly losing her towel, she had forgotten he was there. She looked at him, then her dresser, she may have spent the night in his arms but she wasn’t ready to let him see her naked.

The Continuing Adventures of Draco Moonbeam
Well, it didn’t happen as Draco Moonbeam had expected. The werewolves and vampires actually did nothing that night. Draco and Brother Wenton had fully anticipated some kind of attack. Draco had set up some defenses. He had even tried to formulate a plan where he would attack them instead, but there were too many unknown variables. The only thing he could think of was to force action in the daylight outdoors to minimize the enemies’ abilities.
