The Dragon's Triangle - Chapter 3
Sound was the first thing Angel became aware of. The babbling sound of water mixed with turbulent dreams of dark green water and fast-moving shadows. It was the bird song as a counterpoint to the running water that even her subconscious could not reconcile with the dreamscape that set her on the path back to reality. After the happy warbling of bird, she began to recognise the sounds of wind through trees, distant voices, hammering, children playing and the soft ringing of a chime.

To be continued (late night tales of the Kingdoms)
*** As the girl arrived at the marble kingdom, she paused in front of the grand fortress doors. She took in the sight for a moment before entering. This kingdom was one of the most beautiful of all the kingdoms in the land. She was first greeted by the spirits in the castle. They were excited to see her. There were certainly more playful ghosts here. There were also some not so friendly spirits, but she didn't mind. They were all quite fascinating to her. The moment she walked through the doors of the palace, she was instantly glad that she chose this as her first stop. She was delighted to see so many people!

Chapter 2: The Incident at Farmer Krum's Cabin
Time slows to a crawl as Kannan tightens his grip on Dawnbringer’s hilt. Closing both eyes, his heart thundering like a raging winter storm, he readies himself for the impending battle. The sword’s circular pommel stone flares momentarily with bright light. Soon after, the great sword’s blade sings softly as it slowly unsheathes from its scabbard. Heat radiates through Kannan’s body as the blue runes engraved in the sword ignite with an azure glow, enveloping the sharp edges of the blade in a spectral pale aura. Kannan experiences a heightened clarity of thought, a sudden rush of strength, and his mind is flooded with ancient knowledge of countless battles as the spell-forged sword becomes an extension of himself.

To be continued (late night tales)
Why was she unable to begin the story? Every epic adventure must begin somewhere, right? Well, a story should technically start at the beginning. This story; however, begins a bit closer to the end of the adventure.

The Samhain Chronicles: Ch. 14
Life at the convent was quite simple, yet rather peaceful. The sisters had developed a seamless routine of pray, eat, work, repeat, and Danny and Penelope fell into that routine with little difficulty. Mother Abigail had a seemingly endless list of minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks for Danny to do in addition to helping out with the daily chores. Although by far not the most skilled carpenter or plumber, Danny knew how to swing a hammer and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty if the need arose. Every other day, a handful of the sisters traveled down into the valley to the nearby village, to help out the elderly and infirm. Penelope elected to go with them on these little trips, mostly so that she could check out the village book shop and do more research on the internet there. Danny, of course, couldn't leave the convent for a myriad of reasons, but was usually kept so busy he didn't have time to notice her absence.

New Beach Project: Platform Delta
Not one single person ever before feared water. Sure, there were those that, within their own life had experienced traumatic events through the years, when having fallen over the side of a cruise ship whilst sauntering along the promenade deck after being a little 'worse for wear,' following a night of over-indulging in the amber nectar, whilst in the casinos below.
