The atmosphere in this Sichuan restaurant called "Boiled Three Kingdoms" is very heavy at this time, even the waiter who served the food seemed to feel it, leaving the dish and fleeing, tripping over the chair next to me, I even heard him asking the boss: "They will not fight, right? "

The Reading
Mia sighed and took a big swallow from her glass of wine. She stared at her laptop perusing the articles in her news feed. Most of what was being passed off as news was just articles trashing various groups. Snapping the lid shut on her laptop, she stroked her black tom cat, Jet.

Chapter Seven: A Different Perspective
“Come on, we need to get you out of here.” quickly looking around and pulling out my lightsaber, I twist the knob on the handle; adjusting the length of it. After doing that, I ignite it and try to cut Darryl’s binders, only to have my lightsaber extinguish. “What the...” pulling his hands closer I see some sort of energy surrounding it and I grit my teeth. That bounty hunter must have known I was a Jedi. That means, Aydgage sent them or decided to go after the bounty Revan put out. Darryl lets out a low, pained moan. I look at his face, to gauge how much pain he is in. Sweat is all over his face and down his neck, his eyes have now closed and I can feel nothing but regret coming from him. “Darryl? I need you to talk to me.”

Chapter 22 Hank stripped down to his T-shirt and pants. He placed the HK45 on the bed next to him as he lay down. His shirt and shoes sat in the chair next to the bed. Hank was glancing through the records of the members of the unit when he opened up Jerome’s file. Twenty-four years old. No parents. Born in Dallas, Texas. Raised as a ward of the state. Blood type, A positive. His training mirrored his own. Something about the file didn’t look right.

Chapter 18 Karen’s children were playing in the yard with baby Julia. Hank sat across the patio from Katharine and Karen as they chatted. He watched their body language and picked up part of their conversation from reading their lips. Hank gathered that Karen was relaying her experiences with Martin and how the task force under Sarasin had rescued her from a frightful encounter with the monster. He watched to make sure Karen didn’t mention him or his involvement. To Karen’s credit, she kept her word and didn’t tell Katharine anything about Hank or their adventures together. Hank felt more than a little apprehensive not to tell Katharine. He thought it was for her safety and wellbeing.
