Make Me Believe
In the picturesque countryside, nestled among rolling hills and lush greenery, lay a secluded summer retreat called "Sunflower Haven." It was a place where time seemed to slow down, and worries melted away like ice cream under the warm sun. The rustic cabins exuded a sense of coziness, inviting weary souls to seek solace and rediscover the joys of simple living.

Since Dre’ confessed there wouldn’t be an actual trial. He would go to court with Reginald Chambers and plead guilty. Then he would be asked to give an allocution. After all of the details of the crime were given, the sentencing would commence. There’s no death penalty in the state where he was incarcerated, so more than likely, he would get at least twenty-five years to life and transferred to a prison upstate.

As she pressed her jeans and sweater, it was hard for her to reconcile why she still wanted to impress him when she got there.

Then when she did find it, it was on microfiche. She scanned the files until she found her small record. She clicked then scrolled down to the bottom of the page where it stated that the charges against her were dropped in lieu of new information regarding the present suspect.
