"Wings of Reflection: A Sufi Journey through Dozakhnama"
In the timeless realms of the heavens, where the ethereal meets the earthly, a mesmerizing tale unfolded. It was a story that transcended the boundaries of time and space, brought to life in the conversations between two legendary souls, Mirza Ghalib and Saadat Hasan Manto, in the depths of the fiery abyss known as Dozakhnama. Ghalib, the eloquent poet with a heart steeped in mysticism, and Manto, the fearless writer unafraid to peel back the layers of truth, found themselves in an extraordinary encounter within the realms of hell. As they conversed, their words resonated with wisdom and touched the very depths of their beings. One particular story within the infernal depths captivated their souls—the tale of Si Murgh, the seven birds yearning to unravel the essence of their existence. Drawn by the mystic melody of their search for truth, Ghalib and Manto leaned in, their hearts attuned to the whispers of wisdom that emanated from the story. In the story of Si Murgh, the birds' longing to discover the truth about their purpose in this world, their quest for the identity of their divine creator, took flight. Peacock, with its regal display of colors, symbolized the beauty and grandeur of creation. Nightingale, with its soulful melodies, represented the eternal longing that resided within every being. Once upon a time, in the mystical realms of the heavens, there existed a group of seven birds known as the Si Murgh. One Night of Eden
I met Eden in the summer, "summer" being far too kind a word to describe the blistering Florida heat, peppered by weeks of torrential rain. In some sort of metaphorical way, it was the perfect season to learn a lesson. And Eden ground that lesson into me, swiftly and harshly, like the rain pounds the shoreline.

Minute by Minute. Top Story - December 2022.
This was it. The day that was circled in red on my calendar. I reluctantly opened my eyes after a restless night’s sleep, knowing what awaited me. Simple denial, procrastination, appeals to higher powers, none of it worked. This was my fate, and I had to accept it.

What I Did Before My Summer Vacation
It was all my fault. I saw her arm rise, bent and coming up fast, with the fingers tight in what looked like a claw more than a fist and her face was beyond tense. Like she knew what she had to do. I was happy about that because I thought that I deserved what ever she had to dish out, since I had been a dumbass for most of the year. She was only responding with anger to my mistakes, doing what I may have done (shoe and the other foot). At least we dated.
