They looked straight into each others eyes and Arthur immediately signaled him to keep mute because they were outside the court where anyone can easily hear them and spread rumour knowing fully well the matter concerning the Royals are the top gossip everyone wants to hear especially negative gossips. They were loitering around the court because Arthur do not want to talk about it at all, but Alfred has a plan of his own and thinking on how he could carry out his plan together with Arthur's plan so it can be more successful given the involvement of the heir to the throne. Arthur didn't allow Alfred follow him back to his room because he knew he'll surely bring the matter up, they both went there separate ways in the late evening making it a successful escape of talks between the two of them that day.
