Silently watching the TikTok video he’s reviewed thousands of times, he grumbles to himself and wonders if this one is even worth it. She’s dumb for sure and that’s amplified in my brain because it’s only 5:37am. In the video, she’s wearing the classic red hat. She’s all in for MAGA and yet weirdly she’s actually pretty. Elegant. Slim and not pudgy like most of the women interviewed by this creator who look like they’ve had an extremely hard life somewhere in rural West Virginia. She doesn’t look or sound like the others with their raggedy dentition; slurred, bone tired, country accents and vacant stares.

The Day Everything Changed
It was a quiet Tuesday morning in the small town of Maplewood. The sun peeked through the blinds of the Carter family’s modest home, casting warm streaks of gold across the hardwood floor. When True North Fails. Honorable Mention in Everything Looks Better From Far Away Challenge. Top Story - August 2025.

This was the story of Selene, a woman whose heart beat to the rhythm of dual emotions, shaping her life in ways no one could understand.

Voices from the Cellar
Voices from the Cellar The house on Greystone Lane had always been quiet—eerily so. After the last owners moved out suddenly in 1998, no one had dared to move in. Rumors of strange sounds, flickering lights, and unexplained cold spots haunted the property like a fog that never lifted. Locals whispered about it, children dared each other to knock on the door, but no one stayed longer than a few minutes. That is, until Daniel Whitmore bought it.

Leveling Up in Virtual Shadows
Evan sat alone in his dimly lit room, the glow of his computer screen casting long shadows across the walls. Outside, the city thrummed with life—cars honking, distant chatter, the occasional bark of a dog—but inside, it was silent except for the steady hum of his rig. Tonight was another night spent in the world of Eldoria Online, a sprawling virtual reality MMORPG where thousands of players fought, traded, and forged alliances.
