Love
A Rose By Any Other Name
Should I continue to wait for my blind date? Or should I bolt out of Garibaldi’s as fast as possible? I looked at my watch. It was eight thirty. It did not seem that my blind date, Atticus, would be joining me. Above me, the hum of the ceiling fan droned on repeatedly as I contemplated my choices. Impulsively, I made the decision to stay and enjoy dinner alone, especially since I'd already ordered a bottle of wine. I could use a glass of it for a variety of reasons, so this was an easy fix. The hell with Atticus.

LOVERS WITHOUT BORDERS
Once upon a time there were two lovers living in Ukraine. One hailed from Russia while the other was Ukrainian. Their love story began during peaceful times but soon they found themselves amidst a brutal conflict between their countries. The Ukraine Russia conflict began in 2014 when Ukraine’s president was overthrown in a revolution. Russia then annexed Crimea, which belonged to Ukraine claiming it as their own. This led to the Ukrainian military taking action against pro-Russian separatists in the eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

The Hemlock Sea
Little remained from the night before as the waves crashed onto the shore, carrying my once precious cargo. Now lifeless and shredded upon the rocks protecting the beach of the vultures. My favored one, your blood-staining the once bright and illustrious stones, now nothing more than rust-covered anchors with an ox-blood crimson stain saturated within its very core.

Working on myself drove me to a greater life
It was my first year of high school. I was still youthful and simply trying to figure out what the entire high school thing was about. I didn't feel comfortable around the enormous school or considerably more so people around me. I looked like a lost puppy in a major city, everything was different to me: the climate, the people, and, surprisingly, the classes. It took me some time to become accustomed to it. I needed to make new companions on the grounds since most of my old friends were not in my classes. As it were, high school has changed what my identity was: I lost my old friends, I acquired new ones, I had new classes, I took on new excursions, I fell in love, and I got my heart broken.
