Love
Why is this here?
It was a cold crisp winter morning, the icy breeze turning my nose red when I opened my front door. I had just received a notification that UPS Remote had delivered a package via drone. The only thing is, I don’t remember ordering anything. But sure enough, right there on my doorstep is a small brown box, about the size of a shoebox. Cautiously I pick up the box and bring it inside. In hindsight picking up a mysterious package that I don’t remember ordering is probably not the best idea, but hey what’s the worst that could happen?

The Miracle Box
Today, like every day for the past year, Judy Trudeau had gone to visit her ten year old son, Timmy, in the hospital. He was in a coma, and she had been visiting almost every day to talk to him. She prayed and begged for him to wake up. He was hit with a baseball while at a game with his father, and even though she knew she shouldn’t blame John, she did. She grabbed Timmy’s hand and started talking.

Lost in the dreamscape
She woke up startled out of her sleep again for the fourth night in a row. She saw him again. Well she saw the back of him again. This time she got closer to him than before. There was a serene and calming feeling that surrounded her. Maybe it was the place. There were bright colors coming out of what seemed to be the water.

The Girl Behind the Glass
I watched her every day for as long as I have been here. The essence of her beauty filled the aquarium. It memorized me how her long golden hair fell loosely over her shoulders. Nothing compared to how the sun glistened off the water to expose her bright blue eyes. I got lost in them all the time, keeping my distance to avoid appearing creepy. I knew every inch of her body. My eyes traced her silhouette as her form-fitting uniform revealed all her beautiful curves. I loved how her cute little nose and plump lips perfectly fit her face. Her hands looked so smooth and inviting as she cleaned the glass. I imagined what it would feel like to caress them, how I longed to hold her body close to mine. Daydreaming about her made the days pass easier. I discreetly followed her as she cleaned my windows throughout the tank, always amazed by her perfection. She was the only reason I showed myself.

Color Of Water
Checking my watch for the third time in ten minutes, I waited for my husband Tim. “Where the hell is he? Why am I still waiting for this man?” I could hear myself mumble as I turned to see my six-year-old twin boys eyes widen as they looked through the glass enclosure where giant sea turtles roamed.

To Know of the Moon
Personally, I have never seen the ocean. I was born in one of these enclosures, it was smaller and darker and dozens of my siblings were there. But some of the older folks in my current home have seen it! The new arrivals of the other species are also sometimes from the sea, but not me. Ironic right? It’s even in the name: seahorse, sea-horse. Even so, from what they tell me I wouldn’t say I have a bad life.

The Devil and the Deep.
"Doctor Eddie Reagan has been many things in his life: an academic, an ecological campaigner, a controversial author, an armed activist and most recently, a peacemaker. Now, with the release of his explosive new autobiography, 'Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea', the one-time 'Most Wanted Fugitive' has discussed the part he played in the insurrection against the dictatorship of Pascal Bunari, whose legacy of corruption has been blamed for the decimation of marine life in the Helios Islands, as well as laying bare the prominent role that Reagan himself played in the post-conflict reconciliation with the newly-elected Helios administration.

Aquarium - Comedy Of Errors
HOW DARE HE? Maya stood on the side, fuming while watching the aquarium officials pull her boyfriend - Sanjay, out of the aquarium. The crowd had edged away from her as if she was a maniac who pushed people into tanks. Pringles made a loud crunch as Maya bit on them ferociously, defying the looks she was getting. If only they knew her reason - their sympathy would be for her and not him. She took out her kerchief from her red purse and brushed sweat away from her forehead. The humidity in the aquarium was palpable.
