I Finally Won Something on Vocal!
Two years and ~100 pieces of work on Vocal have finally paid off! I guess I finally wrote something worthwhile! Too bad it's still so little... So many hours wasted. I'll never get those hours I spent on articles back...

No Respect!
I don't understand. People are always calling me a pane. Just what have I done to deserve such disrespect? I let in the light while blocking the wind and cold. I can enhance a room's beauty while protecting people from storms. So, what is it that has garnered me this moniker? I know people don't enjoy cleaning me but is getting dirty my fault?

The Relationship Hypothesis
The relationship hypothesis describes the relationship between the amount of time two people spend talking about their relationship and the amount of time left in that relationship. It is inverse. As the amount of time spent talking about a particular relationship increases the amount of time left in it decreases proportionally.

Slurp, Slurp
I was riding my bike and didn’t notice the open sewer hole in the ground. I fell in, my bike landed on top of me. The ladder leading back out was broken. I heard a crawling sound behind me. I turned around and saw a giant slug. I turned back around and started to run. The giant slug followed me. No matter how fast I ran, the giant slug slowly caught up. I was out of breath and stopped only for a second to catch it. The giant slug caught up to me and ate me. Slurp slurp.

It’s Following Me
I aimed, I fired. Then I missed. The Buck saw me. It charged. I started running through the woods, screaming like a little child. The Buck persued. The Buck was now hunting me. I jumped into the bushes. The Buck found me and knocked me out of the bushes. I rolled on the ground. It broke most of my ribs. I was in too much pain to move. It charged me again. I passed out. The Buck dragged me back to its home and placed me on a rock, where I now lay on display.

Bargain
Her eyes looked me over as she picked up the purse that I had dropped on the floor. She shared a smile of false care; “Our product line is high end and nothing less than a three-hundred-dollar accessory is available.” She suggested I try an outlet store down the road.

Dark Love Haunting
The old home was perched alone on a barren hill, its crumbling walls narrating tales of lost love and unfathomable evil. The home was rumored to be cursed and haunted by the tortured spirits of a sad love affair by the locals. The ominous presence that seemed to linger in the mansion's shadowy hallways caused people to shun it.

Pawgles & Sofie: A Purr-plexing Encounter and Beyond
Meet Pawgles & Sofie. Sofie is a human female on Earth with an unusual and compelling life, and Pawgles appears to her as a 'felis catus', a male feline. He is unlike any cat you’ll ever encounter and, purr-portedly, unlike anything you may come across. Pawgles is essentially an ethereal being, a so-called Aenimon. If bound at all, he is not limited by time and space.

I’m Watching You
I stood in the tall corn stalks, quietly watching Jenny. I loved watching her, smelling her wafting perfume. She couldn’t see me, but I could see her. I slowed my breathing so she couldn’t hear me. I crouched down to remain hidden until I was ready to ambush. I was grinding my teeth, patiently waiting. My fists clenched, I was almost ready. “Charlie, come out from hiding. Dinners ready,” she shouted. I jumped out and yelled “boo” loudly. “Oh, Charlie, you scared me. You’re such a silly child,” she said. “One day, I’ll really scare you,” I said, smiling deviously.
