Dynasty: A Batman Tale Part 18
NOW The fog hovering over Gotham Harbor was dancing in colored light as the Gotham Police and Harbor Patrol boats were surrounding the Antarctica. Penguin was pacing back and forth his chalice in one hand, his extended cigarette in the other. In a few moments Ivy would be in police custody and if she had any additional information now was the time to retrieve it. He needed to find out why they disappeared. Penguin feared now that Joker had returned, the past might have returned with him. The murder of the Mad Hatter Jervis Tetch may be proof that it did.

NOW Murdering the Jervis Tetch was fresh in Harley Quinn’s mind. She couldn’t help but smile, the satisfaction from killing him was overwhelming. She had had plenty of time to replay the events of that dreadful day during her stay at the Elliot Mansion. In her head the memory was vivid and conclusive, Jervis walked in with a duffle bag, he placed it under the center table in which she and Joker were standing around then, BOOM! The force from the detonation had sent everyone in the room flying. Harley was certain there could be no other explanation. It had to be Tetch!

NOW Any other time, keeping his eyes closed after regaining consciousness wouldn’t be difficult for Tim Drake. However, the electric current continuously shocking his body left him no choice. His eyes flashed open as he exhaled an agonizing scream. The shock lasted only seconds, but the residual pain continued long after. At first everything was still blurry. Need to focus. Where the hell Am I? Gradually the darkness lessened. Tim was able to make out circles of light on the floor in front of him. He quickly accessed his surroundings. He was in a large empty warehouse with continuous rows of hanging lamps, all which were slowly swaying from side to side. I’m near the water. Tim could taste the salt in the air.

Dynasty: A Batman Tale Part 19
NOW The wind chill slapping the commissioner in the face had caused the spraying mist from Gotham Harbor to freeze in his mustache while racing out to the Antarctica. His horn-rimmed glasses needed to be continuously wiped just so he could see. Not that it mattered, the fog was too thick and only the red and blue lights from his police boat twirling in the surrounding clouds were visible. Jim Gordon was leading a team of Gotham’s finest to take Pamela Isley or as she preferred, Poison Ivy into custody.

Dynasty: A Batman Tale Part 12
NOW To Jim Gordon, a rain storm in Gotham felt like GOD’s tears falling from the heavens. Jim watched the ponderous raindrops ricocheting off the bright searchlight aimed up at the night sky. The droplets sizzling as they bounced off the incandescent light, the sound tinging off the metal bat silhouette at its center. The Commissioner was able to stay dry by standing underneath a small awning just next to the roof access door. He wanted to grab a quick moment for himself, take a few puffs from his chewed up stogie before heading in to address the troops. Gordon had spent the past few hours reading and rereading all the reports and witness statements regarding the incident at Freeze. After combing through all the accounts and watching the video from the surveillance cameras, Jim dreaded the road the evidence was leading him down. Jesus Christ! Can he be back after all this time? Damn it, I always knew this day would come.

A Load of Bull
We had tracked our target down by word of mouth from a tavern patron at a nearby town directing us to these ruins, but things had gone bad. I'm not even sure how things could be much worse, other than the fact that the mad sorcerer had attempted to turn me into a steaming pile of bull dung and failed. Instead he managed to turn me into the bovine itself, and for that, at least, I am thankful. However, things did manage to get worse.
