Where's Amelia?
The sun was up, and we walked towards the village. I felt uncomfortable walking directly under the sun, so we took a path inside the forest where the sun wouldn’t hit us directly. Castiel explained how humans think vampires burn up in the sun and that is why they think we are creatures of the night. Truth was, our skin gets bothered, like a constant itch, our eyes will be sensitive, and we will be weaker in all aspects during the day, but the sun will not kill us. He promised to take me to see a witch and explained all about the gemstones and how vampires can have their full strength all day and night and how the itchiness and sun sensitivity will disappear completely. Vampirism sounded better each time… with a gemstone, of course.

Yggdra
"By blood we are borne, and thus by blood we shall fight!" These were the words spoken by the men and women of the Yggdra Clan, the defenders of the Nine Realms, and to whom humanity owed a great debt. The Aesir Gods had grown tired of the affairs of Midgard, declaring war upon humanity in order to put an end to the chaos. Odin, the All-Father, led the charge personally, wiping out countless villages with his spells and trickery. He sparked wars between Clans, started whispers and rumors that there were plans to overthrow one king or another. Thus, mankind was divided, and Odin's army of Dead Warriors grew ever larger, an omen of things to come. Thor, son of Odin, took a more personal approach to the purging, attacking village after village in a drunken rage, storm clouds following his every step.

After the ashes: Flashback
When he burned, I thought I knew exactly how I felt. Looking back on it, maybe I was wrong. I laughed. I smiled. I did everything I was taught. Later, I told myself that I was just doing what I thought was right. And then I forgot about it. I made myself forget. I’ve changed since that day. A lot. Has he? Has Zuko changed as much as I have? Do I even care? I remember him screaming. Did he look at me? Did he see me smile? Living my whole life with Ozai, I’ve learned to bar myself against things that upset me. Is that why I laughed? I’ve told myself the past is past. There’s nothing I can do to change it. But is there? I will never apoligize. I never apologize unless I want something. But is there something else I can do? Something that will change the way he looks at that moment?
