Introduction Living Conditions It is the year 2097 and almost 73% of the Polar Ice Caps have melted since the completion of "The Vast Shift". In 2032 the Earth's axis completely switched polarities and melted the glaciers. Most of what is the northern part of North America is at the North pole and under what is remaining of ice. The sun moved closer to the Earth and humans are unable to live above ground. They can soak up the suns energy and grow food in the shade, but if a living being were to step into the direct sun, they would receive major fourth-degree burns.

Prince Particular
(Note: This fairytale is my attempt at showing support for the Neurodivergent community, and providing them with a fairytale retelling of their own. Modern terms like "Autistic" and "Autistic Spectrum" are not used here, but people familar with these conditions should be able to recognise and relate to the personality traits depicted in this story.)

Snowfall
The scene laid out before her was one she could never get tired of. Cottages homes and storefronts on either side of her were blanketed in several inches of fresh, heavy snow. The little hamlet was deep into their winter season, the winter solstice just around the corner. The woman always regarded this as her favorite time of the year, without peer.

A Ship Story

In addition to being rotund he was, by some metrics, an undeniably evil man. Like all evil men he was named Cedric and he took great pleasure in this for some reason, despite being quite dumb.

Wading Out To A Vessel
That night, studying the dark waters of the lake that displayed only stars and the path to a crooked moon, I felt an emptiness that seemed to stem from the infinity of sky above, mirrored on the serene waters. I’d hoped they’d have a calming effect on me, but my head was in turmoil. A fool’s errand. That was the phrase that arrived in my mind. It was one my mother had used a lot, before she’d left.

Choices at the End
Azza awoke in what was becoming her normal way, to a throat clogged with slime and the feeling of drowning. She instinctively panicked, her body spamming with deep, explosive coughs that tore at her throat and wrenched her stomach muscles. Tears streamed from her eyes, drawing paths through the dust and grit that clung to her skin. Ropes of grey mucous spilled from her cracked lips, staining the grit-strewn ground. She would have vomited if there was anything in her stomach.

Risen
Risen 1. The boy did not return to the oceanside in Valparaíso until after his father had died. There had been an accident that no one had seen coming. One day he was there, holding the family on the broad muscles of his back; the next his chest was crushed by a tractor.
