On the 6th Day
Genesis. And on the 6th Day, God created Man in his own image. So, God decided Man would be in the simplest form. Being the creative genius he is, he figured Man should be given complete autonomy and free will, no matter the consequences. Man should also really have some say in how he could live on Earth, and in Eden.

Seat A10 (Part 2)
Despite feeling a sense of relief and calm washing over him, the young man remained slightly unnerved by what continued to pass by overhead, outside of the hatch. Inside of the train car, it felt like all of the distortion and pressure had dissipated, almost as though the train was floating in place rather than moving at an incredible rate of speed. Yet the open square above him framed the same phenomenon the windows of the train had earlier. Streaks of unimaginable colour whipped by the opening every few seconds, like lasers being shot from a spaceship in literally every science fiction movie he had ever seen.

Once Upon a Lie
The castle prison cells are cold and damp. Moss grows through the cracked cobblestone walls and mice nibble at the remains of unfortunate prisoners who did not see the light of day again. It is certainly no place for a princess, and yet here I stand, looking at my husband through iron bars. He is chained to the wall by his hands and feet, a wooden mask strapped to his face. The mask is rough and splintered with two eye holes but no mouth, made especially for him and his crimes. As bad as things ended between us, he is still my husband and I still love him.
