Nails of the Mermammals: A Tail of Origins and Transformations
I counted the days by how much my child's fingernails grew. Half an inch measured two days. One inch measured four days. I knew it would be one week if they became long enough to trim. I taught them this same technique for telling time and space. They had many questions, each of them answered repeatedly and always enthusiastically. I always enjoyed telling them our family's fingernail origin story and why our manicure rituals were so important to us.

Unbeknownst to the Heaven's above an eruption of sorts was taking place and the Earth's water began to emit a rather stenchy, grotesque bile like odor. Suddenly, a repugnancy permeated the entire universe and all that existed in the depths of time. In the heavens, clusters had begun to form in fragments of matter, smaller than a grain of the finest sand. All was silent yet the beginnings of life were developing slowly; the first sign of the senses had been coalescing. There was no sound, no sight, no smell, nor heat or cold before. What the most expansive of all imaginations did not comprehend was the first of all senses had been initiated, thus striking the Universe with this unfiltered fetor.

Origin of the Bloodsucker
There was a time when the world was more cooperative. Back during the Spanish Flu, the government did not need to mandate anything. They had instructions on how to make your own mask. People generally would comply. There were no convoys and protests. If we look throughout history that has been the way. There was colonization but no real threats to people who did not assimilate in the past. People generally tried to do things in the best interest. Fast forward to the 2000 Presidential Election. Al Gore had the popular vote and still lost. What happened? A massive riot erupted in the streets. What we saw then was fireworks compared to the explosion on January 6th, 2021.

To my son, whom I will tell a great story. My father told me, you will tell your son when you are older. It was an excellent time for the Giants and many tribes of them. They were said to be upwards of fifteen feet tall and towered into the clouds. They were living in the flat lands and lived peacefully for a while. Each took care of their own and respected the other's territory. Each tribe had a great leader that kept control of the lands. They farmed with seeds the size of man today. Their fields were vast, with giant crops that almost reached the sky.

Mother Nature
There is no definitive answer to whether Mother Nature is a god, as different beliefs and perspectives may have different views on this question. However, some possible ways to approach this question are: *Mother Nature is a healing goddess and a global consciousness that encompasses all life on this planet, as proposed by the Gaia hypothesis. *Mother Nature is not a god, but a part of God's creation that humans have a responsibility to steward and dominate, as suggested by some Christian views. *The word "nature" comes from the Latin word, "natura", meaning birth or character. In English, its first recorded use (in the sense of the entirety of the phenomena of the world) was in 1266. "Natura" and the personification of Mother Nature were widely popular in the Middle Ages. As a concept, seated between the properly divine and the human. Here is my take on the relationship between the two, as a couple. (human).... seems about right.
