Adventure
Pre BR
When the day of the rodeo arrived, Billie was ready. She had practiced on her farm’s famous bull, Rolling Thunder, and almost stayed on for a full ride. She told her bullfighter not to blow the whistle until 10 seconds had elapsed. She figured that if she practiced a 10 second ride, then an 8 second ride would feel like a piece of cake. Her best time on Thunder was 6 seconds, but riding him increased her performance times on all the other bulls. Unfortunately, riding him lowered her potential point level because all she could do was focus on staying on. She was not comfortable on him and it showed.

When Legs Beat Water
The seas were rising at a rate faster than ever. Nobody in the town of Villarue knew what going on, nobody- except the mad fisherman who lived along the shore. It was just minutes until the annual "Villarue Bull Stampede" was to commence, and unless somebody alerted the mayor of the rising tides, it was set to be a disaster. The insane fisherman chuckled to himself as he questioned whether or not to allow the race to happen, that being, the race between the totally outraged bulls and the even more outraged sea. There was something all too alluring in the idea of watching the town go berserk, for what better time was there to eat popcorn?! So it was, the lunatic of a fisherman waltzed off to a nearby hill, ecstatically awaiting the imminent chaos to strike little Villarue.

Inevitable
INEVITABLE BY HARRISON STEWART The light behind him faded fast, and soon the curtain of the world snapped shut. Darkness swarmed instantly, filling every crack and crevice. The bright and joyful world of the living was behind him. Beyond the world of the dead. Dense, grey fog blanketed the horizon, and dark water burbled beneath the boat as it carried the cloaked figure forward into the abyss. In the distance, a coastline began to emerge through the fog. Closer and closer, it came into full view. A dark pebbled beach and a ruined town. A shanty pier stretched out like a dying limb, as it beckoned the boat.

The Shadow Underneath Us
Curiosity is a strange beast indeed. If we were never compelled to explore the darkest regions of this world, to open the mystery box, or investigate the eerie noises that fill the night, it’s certain we wouldn’t be where we all are today. Every waking minute the mind is hungry for the unknown. It fills with a longing to be filled. But you can never fully fill it. That you could say was my first revelation, and even in good intention it was nevertheless a step on the road to darker dreams.
