Coral and the Shapeshifters: A Tale of Friendship and Cooperation
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. It was a sight that Coral looked forward to every day. She would climb up the highest peak of the island to watch the clouds turn into shades of violet, and as the rain poured down, she would laugh and dance under the moonlight. It was on one such night that Coral noticed something strange. As the rain poured down, she saw a bright light emanating from the clouds. She could feel the energy vibrating in the air, and a sense of excitement coursed through her veins.

The Moon Sisters
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. One by one forming a different shape every second. Some shapes were similar, but you would never see the same shape twice. It all started at dusk. Kids filled the neighborhoods with play and laughter as they scurried home before first light. Down at the city center, nestled in the middle of a ring of tall redwoods, sat the city park. On the South end; the local little league football team played at home against their rivals. On the north end is what looks like a triplets convention. Groups of three with like faces; sit waiting for the sunset spectacular. The streets lined with cars whose drivers honked constantly, because they sat bumper to bumper for miles. The drivers believed that honking would make traffic move faster. But there was no magic willing to aide in that favor. It’s end of business for the blue collars and just like that; the city came to life. Metro buildings started spewing out overworked and underpaid humans, who were anything but eager to stay a minute longer. Crowds from one building went one way. Crowds from another building went the other, until all the restaurants, bars, and public parking lots were at max capacity.

The Dancing Old Man
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky- It was a sight the old man had never seen before. He had lived in the same house for over thirty years, and although the clouds had always been there, he had not looked up at the sky in the longest while. He had been too busy with work and his family to pay attention to the world around him.

Star Fall
Chapter 1 Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. Her soldiers swirled around with a grace that somehow was both militant and wild. They swept across the skies in rows as their colours darkened to eggplant and neared Prussian blue as the clouds came together to formally bid the Sun Queen goodnight.

For the residents of the small town nestled in the Arizona valley below, it was an evening display that never failed to leave them in awe.

A Winter's Claiming
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. Cotton candy clouds I called them when I was little. It was my favorite time of day. When the blue suns faded, and the red moon rose a washing the valley in violet majesty. Snuggled in our barns loft amongst the hay and wheat, I watched the winter dragons migrate north toward the Carpathian mountains where they would breed during the summer months only to return upon the first snowfall. Their golden scales glistening goodbye in the dying light of day.
