Stay Busy, Stay Positive

How staying active can help you overcome grief and find peace.

By Rohitha LankaPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

Rest when you are happy.

But... when you are sad, be very busy.

If you rest when you are sad, you can cultivate sadness and reap a big harvest of sadness.

Rest is given with a bonus of sadness.

But when we are very busy, we forget the reason for being sad. We have to forget and focus on work. Little by little, the sadness will fade.

Don't make any decisions when you are sad and angry. The chances of making wrong decisions at such times are very high. Make decisions when you are happy and peaceful.

Forget the sadness. If you are in a state of grief, don't listen to sad songs.

It would be very good if you could change the environment. Cry when you feel sad. Cry without fear. The sadness will fade. Talk to your best friend or a counselor about your problem.

Sometimes we don't want solutions to our problems. Let go of what's on our minds. Let go of our feelings and impulses.

But...be very careful.

Put your head on the shoulders of the right people.

Otherwise, your sorrow can double and you can get into trouble. Not everyone who comes to listen to your sorrow is good. The best thing to do when you are sad is to be busy. It also benefits you. Working to the fullest improves your work. Sometimes, unexpectedly, sadness can be a blessing in disguise. That's why when you feel sad, don't rest and try to be busy. Believe me.

I was sad for a while too. I was sad for years. There was no one to teach me like this. I worked as much as I could.

I changed my environment. I even went to another country.
