Who is Skully? Skully is a leaf person who can easily disappear into his surroundings. One day Skully is out walking about in his usual way in a very svelte way through the park when he saw something that was very different from what he normally sees in the park and he wants it, but he sees that it belongs to a man who will go unknown for he is not important except for his hat of bright red. Scully wants a pinch of red for some color.
Now Scully meanders up to the man who luckily for Scully decides to have a sit for a while on a bench. The man takes off the red hat. Scully cannot believe his luck for a strong wind blows the hat down the sidewalk and Scully goes after it and catches it while the man tries to chase it down to, but no luck for it seems to be getting entangled with a bunch of leaves and sticks and a thorn bush. The man tried to get the red hat but no chance for we know why for the bush was the home of Scully the leaf person and Scully has some color for his home.

She cautiously entered the room and slowly looked around. The little dickens
Hi honey. Hi Mom. Is this a good time? Perfect. I wanted to hear how things are going but knew you were busy. I am sorry I haven’t you called earlier. I’ve been crazy busy with the new pup. He is really clever. He knows how to train me. We are learning to talk to each other. It’s a lot of work but he is getting house trained quickly and learning to come, sit, go to bed, and he even has started to fetch. It will need months of repetition, but in spite of a few accidents, things are going well.

Nice story Mark. I like how you brought an inanimate object to life and gave it a desire to enrich its own life with a bit of color. Color really does make life much more interesting. Good work and interesting story.
